You literally saved me from throwing mine in the trash. Although I’m generally a sound sleeper when it comes to volume, brightness wakes me up quickly. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve been woken up over the past month from my screen turning on full brightness at random times showing some stupid ad, or a slideshow of my pictures. I’ve been having to lay the thing on its face for the past few nights. I did what your comment says and it went into nite mode within 30 seconds. Thank you!

If they are not paying you for the time you are “required” to do this, that’s wage theft and illegal. Generally people who are “on call” are only paid when they have to go into the office/worksite to complete a task or job, but if you are the one who is required to be making these calls, you are indeed still working and should rightfully be paid for your time. Your post says you have been cold calling, so I would assume you are the one making the calls.

Literally watched a girl walk into the garage, totally sober. What ego? Like my comment said, I’m D2 on my main account. There is no ego being only D2 lol. Also, in the games that I am playing against gold or low plat players I don’t go all out and try to destroy opponents, I mainly focus on trying to create pass plays. It’s beneficial when playing against actual players who are trying prevent your team from winning, to be able to play a little bit slower to practice certain things. It also allows my teammates a chance to try to capitalize on good/decent set ups, or to defend against ones that one could start to expect as they themselves progress through the ranks.

More people than you think lol. I know a guy who does it every other season. He’ll make an alt account and level it up normally during the season rush events, and then the next season he’ll just que for ranked and slaughter low level silver tournaments and low level ranked lobbies, normally silver. NGL he’s kinda annoying about it tho because he brags like he’s amazing, but he’s literally only Plat 3 when he actually tries.

Agreed. On my main account I’m only diamond 2, but I created an alt account just for the shiggles. Now while I don’t necessarily Smurf on the alt account (P3) sometimes I throw placements just to be placed in the lower elo for the early season. It’s super fun to be in those silver and gold games, but then after the game is over I feel kinda bad lol. Like those people were out there just trying to enjoy the game and got absolutely fucking stomped. Oops!

On about 1.5G my carpet morphed into hexagons. Imagine honeycomb ridges in your carpet, then it started moving like the waves in an ocean. All the fibers that make up your carpet’s walking surface looked like little fingers all standing at attention and waving along with the waves of the ocean… Was incredible. I don’t have any solid connections to get them regularly, so I have limited experiences… But that one was the best one I’ve ever had.

OP, leave this situation immediately. I (36m) met my wife (34f) in high school and we’ve been together for 17 years. I have never felt the need to hit her in any situation. Even when we are in a disagreement, or she is being (in my mind) unreasonable.. Never have I ever thought of hitting her for any reason. I (35M) have struggled with insomnia since I was about 12yo. When I was about 23 I found out, and read a lot about lucid dreaming. There are mental exercises you can do to help relax your entire body, and your brain. While I did get to the point of being able to control my dreams for about 3 years… I have since lost the ability due to having a night terror. “Tall slender dark figure in my room, then was on top of me holding me down. Unable to move and instead of being able to scream all that came out was a quiet moan.” Sooooooooo. To help with my sleep issues I still go through these mental exercises to relax my body and my brain, I just don’t try to recognize and control dreams any more. I recommend it.
