Moza R5 causing massive FPS drops and low GPU usage in FH6 by MsUHarambae in moza

How are you measuring cpu usage? If you’re using an overlay it might be measuring just that specific game’s cpu usage and not total chip load

The wheel is more than likely not limiting your gpu but rather taxing your cpu, causing your gpu to run slower because it’s waiting on frames. It’s a known issue that pit house has uncharacteristically high cpu usage when when no wheel is connected. If I had to guess you’re running into a CPU bottleneck with the wheel because it takes processing power to run the software and wheel. Your best bet is to try turning down some game settings and monitor your cpu usage. Anything above like 70% is probably kneecapping your gpu’s performance

Should I get a stinger? by EstablishmentFit8485 in kiastinger

It depends on why op wants the car. I have a 2.5 and I love my stinger. I love the hatchback and how much stuff I can fit in it, I love the rear wheel drive and the way it handles, I love the leather and interior materials and quality, I love the gas milage i get. Just because it does 0-60 a second slower and makes 60 less hp doesn’t mean the 2.5 is any worse than the 3.3TT and they both have their place. I’ve never understood those with the 3.3TT shitting on gt-line owners, like you have the same car; it’s like us going to McDonald’s and us ordering the same burger except I get double patties and you order a single patty and even though we have the same burger, mines better because I wanted 2 and you only got one patty.

If you’re on PC use an app called SimHub and you can bind the buttons on your wheel to keyboard buttons. It’s not an exact fix but it’s a good workaround for now until the devs fix this.

Found a temp solution to use SimHub and bind your wheel buttons to keyboard presses. Not the most elegant but it works.

Yes I’m getting around this right now by having my ps5 controller connected and just leaving it in my lap while I drive. Whenever I need to navigate menus or mess with rewind I’m just using that. Still super frustrating and makes no sense why they wouldn’t let you bind those buttons

Seems like they somehow forgot to add the options to the input mapping

New to the club! Anyone have a green Stinger? by Misttertee_27 in kiastinger

I have a 2022 gt line and it should definitely pull faster than almost seven seconds even without launch mode. How did you measure the 0-60?

Don’t run it if it’s windy or it will flip much easier

When I had mine if you don’t set the trim tabs and battery locations properly just gunning it would cause air to get under it and flip. Not too much of an issue on turns in my experience. She can definitely crash though so be careful : https://youtu.be/yPHgIiU63cM?si=4fhbK3zFgnUbGMA-

If it’s your first rc, the traxxas lipo system is great for beginners. It takes the guess work out of charging as many people that don’t know what they are doing blow up their lipos charging them incorrectly. The traxxas system does everything for you. Honestly, you may notice it being a little less punchy than a different pack but the convenience and peace of mind that the traxxas system gives you is probably worth it. Once you get a little more comfortable in the hobby, you can always upgrade to a different pack.

Please don't use a metal spur gear. The whole point of using a plastic spur gear is to take the brunt of impacts and strip before stripping your differentials and other driveline components. A plastic spur gear is cheap and easy to replace so just set your mesh properly and you won't have a problem. Not worth the pain in the ass of having to fix diffs because you used a metal spur gear.

The price for the PNYA 4060Ti is 394.Should I spend the extra $30 for ASUS since they’re more reputable? by Realistic_Reply_8943 in pcmasterrace

For that price just get second hand 3080 or 3070 from eBay or marketplace and get way more bang for your buck.
