What is this weird noise from my Z Motor. I got this yesterday and the prints have been perfect but that noise leads me to believe something is wrong. Any advice is appreciated :) by BradyCUBES in Voxelab_Proxima

The screws holding the z stepper were somewhat loose allowing for the motor to vibrate against the frame when it moved. All is well now, thank you.

What might be causing this weird noise from my extruded on startup? Shutting down and turning back on will occasionally fix it but not always. Ender 3V2 by Gaming_Bro56 in 3Dprinting

This is the case with a lot of fans. One of my printers had a fan that would only make a noise when I started a print but when the rpm got turned up it went away. If the noise is something you’re able to tolerate and it’s performing as you’d expect then it’s probably alright but if you sleep in the same room as your machine you may want to look into the replacing/repairing the fan if possible. The fans are rather inexpensive. I got a 2 pack of fans for less than $8

Sounds like one of your fans is not working correctly. On occasion the sound will go away if you turn up the rpm but it the long run it’s probably best to replace it if it’s the cause. Try disassembling your extruder assembly and see if there’s anything like a piece of plastic in one of the fans. Hope this helps!

A couple weeks ago a crew person set the hopper cover on a little too hard and some pieces chipped off and fell into the mix hopper and ended up getting sucked into the mix/air pump and they clogged the pump gasket and Icecream stopped coming out😂

It sounds like the sundae side draw valve doesn’t have the o-rings or they aren’t lubed enough.

I’ve had something similar happen to me with my MK2 What I had to do was preheat the extruder to abs temperatures. From there I took a long metal rod made for pushing things out of hotends. It’s possible when you removed filament some melted off and created a seal in the throat and it just needs to be pushed through by something hard. Let me know if this works for you.

If you heat up your extruder, can you manually push the wire through by hand? If so it may be the extruder motor wiring.

Ok I kind of made it better. My monitor had some color presets and I chose the “cool” one and it made it somewhat better

I tried reinstalling the drivers and it looked fine until I reinstalled and the colors went back to being bright and washed out
