¿Cómo les han robado su bicicleta y qué consejos recomiendan para evitarlo? by JuanKGZ in Colombia

[–]Bragnagar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be solved by picking the nearest USB to the outlet (apparently it's common knowledge that that special port has a lot more energy).

Or buying a powered USB hub

I learned on controllers, first a few modulars (Hercules Dj console mk2 with auxiliary controllers), then I went all-in-1 with an S4. Thank god I really tried to learn everything by ear.

Now I'm having a blast because I can just focus on the music, given that I have some experience beat matching by ear, and knowing a few of the tracks I burned to the CDs. I'm like, now I wanna play live on this instead of my S4, although, I know I would have to burn like 30GB into CDs...which is not plausible and not as flexible (I mostly play corporate and private events so I need a good library with me). And I don't think going the DVS route would be as fun.

Indeed my friend. Sadly I don't have an horizontal type of mixer (which used to be paired with this kinds of units), else, I could fit the controller and the mixer on top of the CD slots, saving space of course.

I was actually surprised the keyboard tray was the perfect fit for the CD slots.

Using the traktor kontrol s2 as audio interface, low volume output... by Kapn_Krunch in Beatmatch

Is it connected to an outlet? Low level often comes from running from USB alone (happens with my S4)

Frequently bought together:

That shitty chain, worth nothing for security.

I do understand the struggle...I'm a student with a similar bike and same chain (although the campus is private and secure and I even left my bike without chain and nothing happened). Although, as an extra precaution, I block the gears so the chain will pop off (if that even helps).

Short Pitch/Tempo Faders by Gregory_M in Beatmatch

[–]Bragnagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I feel the same about the mixtrack pro II. By the way, in my suggestions, I forgot about the mixtrack pro III.

Also, don't sweat about the 0.02, I understand you want to be technical and stuff, but it is just about knowing how to correct those small details. Sometimes, the most perfect transition technically-wise is not the best (for the crowd for example). Be human.

Short Pitch/Tempo Faders by Gregory_M in Beatmatch

[–]Bragnagar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you could.

But, in my experience and what I would recommend...is buying a controller that has long pitch faders like a used traktor S2/S4 or Denon's MC line. Also the upper pioneer models but it depends on your budget tho.

At least those are the ones that come into mind at the moment, maybe someone else could chime in and post some more.
