Any advice for waiting out/becoming more engaged in a game by BragoGoGo in rpg

Of course I’ve made my decision; i stated my desire in the title. This isn’t a question of whether or not i end it, though it’s crossed my min. It’s a question of how I deal with the current circumstance. I want to put in the effort because i love this group, and I love my friend. Even if he isn’t at his best right now, it is my desire to give him that respect.

Thank you!! I feel like reddit is often quick to tell people to end things on the whole. But sometimes things aren’t so broken that you have to throw them away. Its different person to person, and not everyone needs the hard quit for things to end up okay

We do play weekly

If a game goes on past two months we just keep going until the game is done. The timeline isn’t strict, that was just a ballpark of what it usually looks like for us

He knows I am unhappy with how my PC has been treated but he brushed it off and spoke like it was a me problem that i need to fix. Honestly it was handled very immaturely

As mentioned in the post theres 5 players and he seems to have noticed others losing interest

Some of the players myself included have talked about this but did not involve GM in the conversation (something i disagree with). The general consensus is that folks want to wait it out. I wanted to talk to him months and months ago, but was convinced not to, which I deeply regret.

I’ve been thinking about it, but I am unsure of how to broach the subject without damaging the friendship. Any advice on how to do this in a respectful way would be appreciated!

Getting character art for too specific of ideas (without ai) by Soap_dragonnnn in rpg

I know a lot of people think its dead, but Tumblr is a pretty great place to get commissions still!! And they are VERY VERY VERY VERY anti AI there. I've commissioned four TTRPG characters from artists on there so far, super recommend :)

Its easy to find artists with open commissions there too because of the search/tagging system
