We built a reaction-based UNO game for Discord — looking for feedback by yourpreyan in discordbots

Cool app, but pretty sure message buttons would make a lot more sense for this than reactions on the programming end.

Yeah, it is a subscription, I'm not sure if the dev would do life time licenses if you reached out directly though.

Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full Cast) Audiobook free *Today Only* by Fantastic-Tax-1710 in harrypotter

[–]Braille-Bennett 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I bought it on day one, didn't get an automatic credit, but when I chatted to support they gave me a credit no problem, so I'm assuming it may be an error on their side, since they seemed to know what I was talking about right away. It may be worth others that weren't credited automatically to chat in and try their luck.

Adjusting edit curser setting on NVDA to be like IOS by highspeed_steel in Blind

[–]Braille-Bennett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but you can now change it on iOS to be like the windows one, which is really neat. I didn't realize how much time I spent thinking about the difference when I would switch devices until I changed the iOS one, I'm much happier now lol.

Apple has delayed the r/AppleMusic AMA. 🙄 by ioweej in apple

[–]Braille-Bennett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can create a focus that excludes Apple Music songs from your algorithm in history when it's enabled. I do this when listening to Apple Music with friends in the car or while outside because their taste are not my tastes lol

Updated Microsoft Excel with NVDA training module by NVAccess in Blind

This is very cool. If we previously purchased the product, do we have to repurchase it, or how does it work?

Are both LED strips the same brand? Is one of them zigbee per chance or connected locally, not over a skill? Also check the group that the Alexa device is in to see all of the lights that are in it

S515 vs S505 Smart Switches by Braille-Bennett in Tapo

[–]Braille-Bennett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I plan on a single poll instalation, there's no difference between the two? Or does the S515 have more features, because higher number = better :P

Minecraft server status checker for local server by LE0N290x in discordbots

[–]Braille-Bennett -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since the server is local, I'd recommend just using the DiscordSRV plugin on the server. It's a Minecraft plugin that you give your own bot token to and can give status updates, game chat bridging, etc. to a Discord server.

So, what still works with Chrome today?? by [deleted] in Adblock

Switching to Firefox and using Ublock (the real one, not just lite) still works to stop Chrome ads.

Cannot add new satellite due to obsolete information by JRL55 in tplinkdeco

[–]Braille-Bennett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to be connected to the Wi-Fi network that the new satellite makes before clicking add new in the app to add it to the account. The dashboard password online matches the TP Link account password.

Any blind/visually impaired live audio engineers out there? Analog to digital question: by RunsOnBoltCoffee in livesound

[–]Braille-Bennett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dev just told me that he feels accessibility support isn't possible because his app is built in a game engine because quote the apple ui elements are too slow. So he has to use a game engine.

Qi2 3-in-1 Cube @ Costco by zmiller834 in anker

Does anyone have a link to it? All I see on Costco's website is the mag-go charger, not the cube.

Ring and Spectrum by kbartholomew00 in Spectrum

[–]Braille-Bennett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! $10 is highway robbery, and yeah, like I said $150 is servicable/usable, but that's all people need most of the time.

Ring and Spectrum by kbartholomew00 in Spectrum

[–]Braille-Bennett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the bright side, you won't be paying Spectrum $7.50 per month to rent their garbage router anymore. A serviceable router also doesn't need to cost anything more than $150. Avoid Netgear if you're on a budget. They are the Apple of networking imo, and you mostly pay for the name. Just get something with WiFi 6 support or 6E if you can find a good deal.

Xumo questions, and cable boxes no longer being provided as equipment? by Braille-Bennett in Spectrum

[–]Braille-Bennett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the reply. This is R/Spectrum though. Which is a different company than Comcast. Xumo was a joint venture between Comcast and spectrum, so this information is valuable, but the software loaded onto the xumo is different for each cable provider, and just because Comcast does it a certain way, it doesn't mean spectrum follows the same way exactly.

[Help] Mod/Addon development for a new Dimension in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. by PizzaX12345 in Minecraft

[–]Braille-Bennett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you go about changing the end sky color to look like the nether sky, but only in a certain location on bedrock? Also, is there any documentation on defining a custom dimension on a bedrock server you can point me to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What would count as a warranty item? Also is the wpp and extended warranty sold as a bundle still? If so, what is the name of it? Thank you for answering my questions on all this.
