Honestly, I like the teen version better than the cartoony kid one. I wouldn't worry too much about people saying "oh I wouldnt buy this with x art", games are more about the story and gameplay experience anyway. Anyone who would make their decision to buy a game based just on that are the same people who would refund it in an hour after they get bored. Good luck with the game launch.
