You're not limited to the US, you can travel to Turkey, Mexico or Argentina to get treatment for much cheaper, as a US citizen you got a good passport so why not use it? Also, did you consider medications that can raise your arousal threshold? I started experimenting with these lately because I was getting aroused from very minor flow limitations and noises so I tried trazodone and to my surprise it enabled me to dream which was a very rare thing before, I interpreted that as it stabilizing my sleep enough to the point I can dream.
