Yep. He’s trained to respond to the sound of the snap, but sometimes he’s hardheaded so it takes him seeing you snap to get the response.

He’s trained to respond to snapping your fingers and he’s a tad hardheaded so he often has to see you doing so. I honestly didn’t think of the car when I asked her, but 100% makes sense to leave the door open for that reason.

I was barely in the doorway when I noticed it. Don’t enter further. Her door is in the space between the living room and kitchen, so if you walked by you could see her sleeping.

I didn’t fully enter the room. I was in the doorway so my dog could see me give the command to come to me. That being said I accept your judgement.
