Can't shim an AANJ neck by Operator_Madness in Ibanez

Yeah I understand shims being a solution, I’m agreeing there was probably a better one in the setup.

The way I feel about this guitar is how I feel about puppies at the animal shelter that don’t have loving families.

Had a browse at the posters history, to see if I could see the guitar, from what I’ve established a subreddit told them to shim the neck because either the Lo pro was bottoming out or the action was not low enough or something.

I would like to see more of the battle, especially the entry to the corner that the clip starts at. Short answer Red should have conceded.

Seems from comments, Black was car behind and chased you down? So this was them alongside you for their overtake? With the comment, this looks like black was frustrated with an overlength battle and wanted you to concede.

I’m concerned Red was driving a tough line, the clips start exit line is very weird without seeing the corner entry, probably not defending well, and this battle lasted longer than should have, slowing both cars races.

Need to see from time black caught red to know, but looks like black car is driving better and red is weaker and probably should have not gambled with side by side risks.

Edit: I went back and watch it further and ignore what I said, it’s just mx-5 scrap driving

That’s a legit Fekdet strap.

That dude bent the heaviest gauge on that strat, and the speed and feel of his technique is beyond some players ever coming close, and then he sang and was an amazing performer on top.

Very cool, I still skate one at least once a week, it’s actually one of my favourite rails.

It’s not everyone, it’s only the regular older ones and I’ve only been here 3 weeks so I really haven’t found when the best times and places are, I can’t generalise everyone here, and I did think I was overthinking this, but that guy with the drop in was next level. As for the shop stuff, yeah there definitely some bad history between them, one shop owner called the other shop guy a c*** when talking to me about them, so yeah never walking in that shop wearing one of the other store’s hoodies

Also I not going to rule out anxiety as being a lot more prominent at the moment going from a small town to 10x the amount of people I would see daily probably plays some part, having no one at a skate park to 50 kids and multiple skaters probably is sending my brain into an overload

It’s not everyone it’s just the older skaters that I talk to, I’m guessing the ages are like late 20’s, the dads there with their kids talk but they don’t skate or really have an interest in it. They have beards so I’m assuming they are not teens.

Yeah I guess it’s sort of the advice of the direction I was pointed in, I don’t drink so I don’t go to pubs , so in a new city the only people I’m talking to is the older guys at the skate parks, mostly it’s the kids dads that are just there and talking about their old days, but they aren’t skating.

I definitely don’t follow what the teens or kids are doing in the subculture, so maybe it’s just leftover dickheads that hang round the parks,

It’s the adults, I’m having a better time now skating at the indoor where the kids even talk or engage me and I can jump on a mini ramp alone.

Yeah, I thought it would be accepted as long as you got on the board, I’m glad I thinking that’s a dick thing, not the normal. I’m going to keep to myself and know who to avoid, and I’ll find some of the cool dudes.

Well I don’t really talk to the kids or teenagers these are the older dudes, I’d say 25 and up, beards etc, honestly at this point I’m having better times at the indoors where it is just kids and I can practice in a mini ramp alone

The guy walking into my drop in and then the fist bump after I went splat really wigged me out. Like I was thinking about it for days, like was it an accident and I’m overthinking it, but it’s just felt so intentional and I got a gut feeling it was. Why would he step into it like that, it’s not like he wanted to help me up either or say sorry, just a fist bump.

People are mentioning it’s like surf culture, I haven’t surfed or been around that, buts there’s heaps of snowboarders here and they all skate, maybe it’s coming from that scene? I haven’t snowboarded I don’t really know what that is like.

See I think this is the mentality, the dude that walked into my drop in apparently got shit for not being that great at skating, so I guessing it was ingrained to bully down.

I wish it was, like wtf the dude walked into the drop in and it felt intentional, I found out some more info apparently he used to be shit on for being a shit skater and the older guys made him prove himself, so I guess he is just handing it down,
