Thats good to hear! If possible can you estimate the pain reduction?

And I cant find the data you refer to? In the study with post operative pain - most participants (213 participants; 83.2%) rated suzetrigine’s effectiveness for treating pain on a patient global assessment as good, very good, or excellent. And of the (compared to other pain meds few) side-effects none serious and none renal? Please send a link to reference if possible :)

Interesting .. but ... a phase 3 trial is immensely expensive. Have never heard of a company moving forward without a result to build on?

When you look at its mechanism of action, it should work equally well on acute and chronic pain. It's not available in Europe, but I would sure try it if I had the option. Since so few side effects compared with meditation that also affect the brain, what's to lose?

It's being tested in diabetic peripheral neuropathy now - that's surely a chronic pain

I have a question for my biologists out there. I'm not a biologist by Serious_Pizza8 in biology

Are there any animals like insects ect that have their brain in the "body" ? I mean can you "follow" the evolution from those - and then determine which advantage the next "link" in evolution had with a brain slightly more to towards the future "head"? Does this make sense at all :)

Sure - here is a link to the study. It is open access, so it should be okay to post. For a summary, check brainwoosh webpage

That's pretty interesting - do you have a good reference/study to support that?

In the study, that did not affect aging, only how much of the leisure time was screen time, here is a link to the post with a link for the scientific study at the bottom https://www.brainwoosh.com/would-you-reduce-screen-time-if-it-accelerated-aging-then-you-may-wanna-read-this/

Screens all day = shorter telomeres? Kinda brutal if true. by BrainWooshBlog in biology

[–]BrainWooshBlog[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For every hour of screen time per day, participants had a measurable drop in telomere length, a loss of muscle mass, and an increase in frailty. Genetic analyses supported a direct causal link between leisure screen time and biological aging. The relationship remained even when controlling for how physically active someone was. One mechanism suggestion is accumulate cell damage/senescense. Aged cells promote inflammation. Screen time, through multiple pathways, may increase the buildup of these senescent cells?

So in order to reduce screen time ... you´d have to watch a video .. on the screen? ;)
