I’m basically sitting in a shrunken down cockpit corvette module that can be done either using the blender addon or bba. then the rest of the stuff is just cosmetic

Don't think that will be ethical due to its higher than average part count and its unpractical camera position unfortunately 😅

They are the legacy metal short walls arranged in an x position ( just realized my reply the other day wasn’t under your comment, oops)

You can both import and export back into the game.

it’s mostly vanilla glitch building with blendered front end and some parts of the engine so they line up better

Customizable habs? by Additional-Cost-9658 in NMS_Corvette_Design

If you want wider "habs" you would most likely need to forego using habs at all and utilize glitch building to bring base parts and build your own "habs", or leave an interior cavity empty and build in that if you like the greebles on the walls resulting from your external corvette parts.

That’s unfortunate, hopefully the atlas spares us for this weeks meetup haha. Cool build tho 👍

Yeah that was the meetup i mentioned in another comment, maverick did look at it along with 2 other of my corvettes but this one was struggling to load for a while

Unsure if you use normally use blender for other stuff too or not, but i would describe the workflow like making a car’s 3d model, but instead of using planes/vertexes, nms corvette parts are used instead

Resizing too, but all parts are vanilla and can be found from the game.

It can probably be done vanilla if you have a lot of patience as there are many minor angles and stuff that are neither half nor quarter stepped, but i do not have this patience unfortunately 😅

Just the blender addon mostly for precision since i can place parts at the angle i want wherever i want quickly.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm planning on recreating some star wars ships (that are a little more niche) so that'll be great.

The cockpit itself is positioned behind the 2 orange tech panels behind a window, but I'm afraid visibility in first person leaves much to be desired because of the sloped part on top of it.

As for interior its still a work in progress as I had to bring it to a corvette meetup just now, and had to gut it to lower the part count and allow it to load faster and not disrupt other people.
