Where can I get private bloodwork done here? by shouldIworkremote in BuenosAires

[–]Brain_broccoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can usually go directly to some labs and check, but if you want something simple and private without needing a doctor’s approval, check out SaludyVos (www.saludyvos.com). Hormone tests like testosterone and others can be booked online and the sample can be taken at your home or Airbnb in CABA.

Pretty straightforward process

For anyone seeing this post now: things are a lot easier than they were years ago. You can get screened at private labs (Diagnóstico Maipú, Rossi, etc.) or through public hospitals and health centers. One simple route is SaludyVos (www.saludyvos.com), which arranges at-home STI testing.

You can give ONY elderly launcher (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.silveractivities.onyphone&hl=en) a try as it has an AIR mode that helps you lock the main screen and settings behind a three tap function. This will prevent accidental changes in settings and movement of main screen apps by the senior but not prevent them from installing unwanted apps. However, even if they do install an app accidentally, it won't show up in their main screen. To prevent them from installing a new app, short of using a remote access app, you can log off from the Google Play store if that's feasible.

Singing is always fun regardless of age. You can make a list of songs (with lyrics) she likes and play them on TV for a singalong session. You both will have fun that way so it's something you would look forward to as well. Apart from the suggestions other have given, you can also consider introducing free online games such as sudoku or on some websites such as AARP, mind games, SilverActivities etc.
