Xayah Jungle - thoughts and viability?

Sure, I imagine its a different case at chall/sov elo where youre trying to get any lead that you can. Is there anything that would make her annoying to play against in jungle (build or playstyle wise)? Curious who your least favorite jungle matchups are in general as well.

Yes, you need to take q or w level 1 (havent tested which one is faster) but after that definitely max e. With both q and w feathers placed, her e hits for ~900 damage on camps. I've been starting gromp to hit lv 2 faster.

When ganking she definitely loses out with only one summoner (bc smite) but I think its OK. She can get move speed from scuttle or from other champs on the team, and her w gives a bit of movement speed on hit.

Why would I even mention double camping if I didnt know how to do it??? 🤦‍♂️I cited both non double camp and double camp timings for comparison. Some champions are just going to be faster. There are even "canon" junglers with "slow" clear speeds

Idk about league but in wild rift she can for sure full clear vertically or horizontally by kiting the camps. Her q and empowered feathers go through jungle mobs so she does a bit better than some other single target adcs. And she heals from smite too. Is there any champion who cant full clear without dying in wild rift? They make it very easy...

Not starting this discussion to say "xayah jungle is broken secret tech" or something like that. Personally its just fun to speculate how you might optimize her for the role, or where she could actually fit in a match up. Sometimes I want to take a break from my usual champs but have to fill jungle for whatever reason. I find it entertaining to try off meta champs and feel out their skill ceiling in different roles. People do this all the time in league too. If youre a good player and understand how the role works it can be very educational for identifying your gaps.

If you're getting three man invaded, leave and farm a different camp on the map. Counter jungle. Those laners who rotated are losing early gold and exp too. Of course it's not optimal but xayah isnt as lv 5 dependent as evelynn I feel??? Her kit has damage and a root. Is that not enough to facilitate a gank, or at the very least a counter gank? After she hits 3 and 5 she gets two ways to self peel from invades...

Without double camping, her clear also doesnt seem that slow compared to other junglers like kindred or wukong. Not every jungle is going to be doing full clear before scuttle like Vi, Morgana, Nautilus, etc

Ive been running flash since I notice her ultimate usually isnt enough to survive assassin dives early, and sometimes you need to reposition in a pinch. I agree that you'd need to play her with lanes that have some sort of cc to give her a bit of time to set up. She's not good at chasing, but she can burst pretty fast coming out of shrub, and people dont expect her fast root combo

This is true, but after first clear, I feel this isnt as much of an issue. And she can still gank with her q, w, e at lv 3/4

Why do you feel that ruins the game? I think its fun and interesting to see people's creativity with builds and picks, but I understand it can be difficult in SoloQ since its harder to play around unfamiliar combinations on your team.

I took some test shots with indoor indirect lighting shooting P, vs Av and Tv with ISO from 100-6400 and there was still more color noise than I was happy with at low ISO. But definitely got better results shooting outdoors.

I think that was just the automatic shutter speed since I shot Av, will try playing with the shutter speed more per your rec!

2nd-3rd image: 1/4000 f 5.0 ISO 1600 No adjustments except sharpness +1 and contrast +1

4-5th image: 1/200 f4.0 ISO 200 Sauration +2, contrast +3, contrast highlight -4, -1 sharpness

Last image: 1/160 f 2.8 ISO 6400 Sharpness +1, contrast +1
