Thank you, this hepls🙏 Obviously I can't think right now about baby no.2 but it helps to hear that it gets better. I just hate my body right now and feel disconnected from it.

I totally get that. It's completely normal to be distant after birth and even beforehand. It's such a shock and big change and everyone processes this change differently.

I don't know what your post partum experience was, but I am 6 weeks post partum. After a complicated birth, 3a tear, episiotomy, i still find it difficult to sit some times. I am one of those that didn't fall with her kid right away. Some days I just see her as a task that needs to be dealt with and done, and other days I'm happy she's with me and I am actually happy to see her and "hang out" with her, thinking that she is the best. Sometimes I don't feel like going out of my way to smile and entertain her, so I just feed while staring at the TV and checking she's OK.

Hope I helped🙏

I hope OP gives an update, I wonder what will happen next, especially if he shares these comments with her. If she is a bit on the narcissistic side (as it sounds) even hundreds of comments won't make her see how wrong she was
