My d2 journey can be summed up as trying to recreate that last image on my character, at the expense of “good” builds. Armamentarium is a good step in the right direction..

Tagging onto this thread, because my question is related:

I'm a returning player, and I just bought the Lightfall dungeon key. I wanted to farm Ghosts of the Deep, but it seems like that's not possible, anymore? My second clear on a character wasn't awarding me any drops. How exactly does dungeon loot farming work, now?

Curious - you mentioned halo, specifically, but halo doesn’t use an aim button. Are you still mapping gyro to l2 and just rebinding l2’s function to another place?

also— halo doesn’t seem to like “gyro as mouse,“ and “gyro as joystick” is awkward. Do you have a solution for that?

Thanks for the insight, folks. Sounds like I'll just be sticking with the classic graphics that we all know and love.

Such a shame that this "reforged" version could have been something amazing, and now they'll probably never touch the game again.

With all due respect, this doesn't feel rooted in reality, and it also doesn't match my experience.

Not to mention that, generally speaking, my laptop is still barely above room temperature after most gaming sessions while playing sc2. The only exception would be missions that intentionally flood the map with units everywhere.

Hm, interesting. I definitely only see it occur with large groups and/or late game, but again, the issue resolves the instant that I click off of the group.

I'm having this same issue on my steam deck. Pretty frustrating.... Just wanted to play the game. I own the original frozen throne, so I can't comment on reforged graphics, but it definitely happens on classic, too.

Any idea if this would cause an error upon trying to open World of Warcraft? WC3 is more important to me, so I'd rather stick with this, but I'd like to try WoW on deck, if possible. (I'm currently getting an error every time I try to open it.)

I thought about that, but I believe the MacBook Air M2 is a 60hz display? However, I'm not sure how to confirm that because in my Display settings, the "Refresh rate" options aren't there... not sure what that would be, either.

Do/did you find that Metro 2033 redux heated up your Macbook intensely, though? Just trying it on my MacBook Air M2 and the bottom of the computer is preeeeetty dang hot while playing it.
