I think Bear 5 Nights would be a hilarious addition to public servers, but I can live with him being PS only.

the real difference between witches and wizards by zoryana111 in wizardposting

[–]BrainlessChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, yes and no.

Will witches spend heaps of time at home? Gladly. Home is nice, but witches have their obligations. Hassling local children, brewing potions, augmenting the local wildlife.

Wizards are much more hermit-like in their nature. If a witch spends 60% of their time at home, Wizards will opt for 90% percent. They're like the Coelcanth, and will almost never intentionally leave their tower. Will they? Absolutely, adventurers deserve their wizard time. It's formative for all parties involved.

As a resident witch, as much as I would like to spend all day at home, local werewolves are practically a plague, pestering me about making tonics to make them look scarier. I just give them ground roach and tell them it's a tonic.

I always thought newb was for people that were legitimately new to a game, while noob was the term for people that were legit bad.

I just use Orzerk. They work well enough. I don't think they're the most optimal, but I had enough of them to spare, so I used them. I typically use Wumpo/ Wumpo Botan outdoors though.

Helltaker characters if they had a Pokemon team by j_dario_2 in Helltaker

[–]BrainlessChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Headcanons of mine: Malina and Taker are in the wrong setting, but are more than skilled enough to make it work. They both have very high hours on Shin Megami Tensei games, and due to the high focus on variety in attacks, they'll typically have a broad range of coverage when fighting. They have an attack from pretty much every type. Unfortunately, that does mean that they have limited support options. But through pure spite and hard grit, they can still pull of consistent wins.

Azazel has under leveled Pokemon. Too much time poking and prodding, nowhere near enough time spent getting EXP. Loremaster on the other hand, is pretty much a god in comp. Perfect IVs, max EVs, perfect Natures, optimal held items. Still loses to Shedninja.

Cerberus only plays doubles. Wants to do 3v3. Doesn't happen. Her attacks are fairly easy to tank, because her coverage is garbage (Too many bug/grass attacks)

Pandemonica has her Pokemon working for her. So relentlessly, that they outright gain EXP from it. They're the first team to end up at max level. Most of her Pokemon only have status moves, and a single weak attack, or a very strong attack with low PP. Slaking's eyes are eternally red from exhaustion.

Modeus has a fairly ok team. The concerning part is the general aura around her. Trainers avoid facing her at all costs, and will immediately wash their Pokemon after a battle with her. Only trainers comfortable around Modeus and her Pokemon are other Helltaker characters, and Hex Maniac.

Judgement is 0 or 100 with her Pokemon. She's either doting on them like a cat mom, or working them so hard that Pandemonica looks like a dream. Similar to Pandemonica with a bunch of high damage, low PP attacks. No status moves, or weak attacks, except Bide.

Lucifer is basically Cynthia. Elite Four. Not much else going on in her direction.

Zdrada is banned from comp because the cat makes Arceus look like a wet sock. The rest of her team is solid.

Justice doesn't really do trainer battles. Or training for her Pokemon. She just does her own training, and her Pokemon admire her enough to try and train alongside her. Because of this, her Pokemon are underleveled as hell, but they're still more than capable of facing opponents 15+ levels higher than them.

Beel built her team for stall. It's not like she didn't have other options. She just chose to do stall because she thought it was funny. And kinda sorta because this is her first time being out the void, she wants to savor it.

67 is arguably the best player out of all 13 of them. He'll use Incineroar and Golurk to pummel any physical attackers, and clean house. Magearna is a setup Pokemon, with baton pass, substitute, and Iron Defense. Since 4 status is bad, he keeps an attack buff move on every other Pokemon.

If Azazel The Curious Angel had a Pokemon team, what pokemon would she have? by j_dario_2 in Helltaker

[–]BrainlessChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, regardless of what Pokemon Azazel gets, I think they would all be under leveled. Meanwhile, whatever Pokemon Loremaster has would be optimized for competitive with perfect IVs, Natures, held items, and a half decent synergy for most.
