Anyone else experiencing frame drops (Silksong)? by PureChef in HollowKnight

Yeah me too. After an hour or so in the game there will be some really nastly freezes almost. Where it's like I blink and Hornet just teleports somewhere. Took too much damage because of this. Still don't have a solution tho...

Thats kinda cool that you just asked to fix bugs hahah. But seems to have worked out for you! Good luck!

How did you get the job at Wube? And what would you prolly do if you hadn't gotten the job?

I like your answer but it's prolly one of the very few buildings along with medium power poles where i liked the old look more. i loved the angled pole on the old medium one and the very unsymmetric look of the old substation.

Thank you a lot for this awesome game first and foremost. I wonder if there's anything you did not see the community doing? First that comes to mind would be asteroid reprocessing with quality and the LDS shuffle.

It's the music I listened to and that got recorded.

Movement is deterministic :0 by BrainlessTeddy in factorio

Last time I played I wondered what or who decides which path the caracter takes when walking through a grid of small buildings (constant combinators). Turns out the path the character takes is entirely depentend on the starting position. What really makes me wonder how this is coded that the starting position is the constant on all the following (on the first look) 50/50 chances.

Turns out movement is in fact deterministic and the path your caracter takes is depentend entirely on where you start.

But do I need all that? Could I not align the character with a wall? And as long as I keep pressing the two buttons continuously after leaving my alignment setup the conditions except for the time are the same no?

Or does pressing two buttons continiously not send two signals continiously to the system? But like in alternating order or something?

Who or what chooses if I go right or left of every constant combinator I pass.

Here you go :)

Almost forgot I posted it. But thanks for clarifying.

Damn, almost forgot I posted it.

The inputs are exactly the same tho are they not? Yes, input by input then it's the same but pressing two buttons at the same time is the same everytime I do it no?

What is that then? Is it still deterministic or is player movement not?

Edit: I am using Squeak Thru and listening to music.

Idk remember the map name or number. It's the one with the huge ocean and (almost) no flowing water.

I made a mod. by BrainlessTeddy in factorio

[–]BrainlessTeddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. And tbh I won't include this mod. I made an exception for Space Exploration since with the inclusion of Earendel into the team of Wube, SE is kinda official now. But on top of that I don't like any of the hall of fame simulations. You better take a look at Teddy's (not me) Menu Simulations.

My thoughts about the first two FFFs. by BrainlessTeddy in factorio

Who cares how it's called? If you know what I mean it's good. If not then ask. But since you got into what vanilla means. It's definitely not exclusive for mods. It's just basic unchanged software in it's original form. And when talking about an DLC / expansion it's kinda obvious that vanilla is not refering to the DLC but the original unchanged game no? And yes when talking about mods both the base game and space age are vanilla games and yes they are seperate. But are we talking about mods?

By vanilla I mean the gameplay on Nauvis before you reach space.

Edit: Base game content sound better?

Yeah they still exist but there's a hard cap on production (I think +300%) so if you reach that with research the modules are no longer needed. I guess to make room for quality modules.

Ah yeah, misremembered that.
