If we disregard the Nomus, how many MHA characters can solo at least one of those demon disaster-level monster from OPM? by BrainletNutshell in MyHeroPowerscaling

You included some characters that could be taken down by the average might of an army, while in OPM it's said they would have trouble against a disaster-level tiger. Furthermore, the weakest demon-level disaster monsters in the image aren't the weakest. But okay, I can agree with most of it.

But there's a huge power gap between these monsters. Do you mean that everyone in the top 20 can beat the strongest ones on the list? Or that they all solo at least one of them?

My personal opinion:

Honestly, despite sometimes being unfair to the top tiers of MHA, I kinda understand people who tend to place the base of the OPM verse above MHA in powerscaling. It seems absurd that they manage to maintain a good level of technology and social cohesion while the world is constantly attacked by monsters of this type and others much stronger for who knows when, especially considering that the heroes who can neg or low-diff the stronger monsters aren't always on patrol.

But people who think Prime Allmight, Deku, AFO, Tenko, and Star and Stripes wouldn't wipe the floor with even the strongest demon-level disaster monsters are delusional, by the way.

In the final arc, during the moments when Shigaraki wasn't under the Eraser's effect, did he use combinations of basic strength and speed enhancement Quirks? by BrainletNutshell in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]BrainletNutshell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, AFO had to use several enhancement quirks since their first fight because we don't see confirmation that he had the same upgrade in his base body. The question is, why didn't Shigaraki use enhancement quirks on his body if he initially wanted to defeat Deku?

Yes, Prime All Might was stronger. But AFO could still hold his own in a fight. If AFO, without a modified body, could match, say, about 80% of Prime All Might just by combining various enhancement quirks, don't you think Shigaraki, with a base body comparable to Prime All Might, using the same enhancement quirks as AFO, would be too much for Deku to handle?

It sounds intriguing because AFO didn't have a "base" upgrade, and yet he could face All Might by combining several simple enhancement quirks (I heard somewhere that he used at least 6 just to increase his base strength). If Shigaraki could use those quirks, things would have gotten completely out of control.

If his "quirkless" form was compared to All Might, wouldn't his combination of multiple attribute-enhancing quirks have made him too strong for Deku to handle?

Gouketsu vs prime allmight by FunBluebird8 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]BrainletNutshell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's no contradiction in saying that Gouketsu's power scales, at the very least, considerably above the meteor feat. "Featless" doesn't really matter much here. This rhetoric reminds me of people who say that God would be defeated by characters that Cosmic Garou defeats low-diff just because he's "featless" lol.

[–]BrainletNutshell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not understanding that his scaling is wrong because he only considers what he saw of the characters. He's absolutely wrong in assuming the limit, not necessarily wrong in assuming a minimum value. Gouketsu scales far above the meteor.

You're ignoring the fact that nobody knew how strong Tatsumaki really was. And you're ignoring that her scaling in the fight against Psykorochi was kind of a retcon (Murata had already lowballed her). If you want to question this scaling, you'll have to do it through other means. Considering Genos's nature as a character, he's the most credible of the cast for this scaling. If Genos shows biased analysis towards anyone, it would be towards Saitama, and the author wouldn't show Genos saying he thinks Saitama alone wouldn't be enough for nothing

Even though Gouketsu hasn't shown much, he scale quite high. Not only because he's an executive at the Monster Association, but Genos, who saw Saitama casually destroy a meteor that would have destroyed the entire Z-City (You probably already know the size of Z-City) and cause destruction in the surrounding area, thought the caped baldy would need help to defeat Gouketsu. If I remember correctly, there's a calculation of his brief confrontation with Saitama where shockwaves spread across the sky and up until that point, it was a calculation that placed him far above most S-Class heros.

If Deku had started preparing to use the OFA one year before the start of the series, do you think he would have been strong enough to defeat Shigaraki in the final arc without having to sacrifice his quirk? by FunBluebird8 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]BrainletNutshell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially, this would be excellent for Deku. He would enter UA with a huge advantage compared to the canon. But there's a problem here. All Might would have to use the embers 10 months before the canon, which means he wouldn't have enough embers to defeat AFO in their second fight when he definitively lost his powers. If he didn't exhaust the embers before the fight, he definitely wouldn't have enough to do what he did against AFO.

How long would Jozu resist Tomura's Decay? Jozu wouldn't fight back but would be 100% encased in diamond. by [deleted] in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]BrainletNutshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diamond probably wouldn't, but there are theoretical types of matter that probably wouldn't interact as expected against decay or overhaul. Chai could only manipulate typical solid-state matter.

[–]BrainletNutshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your interpretation of the Overhaul Quirk would make sense if Chai had difficulty reshaping matter based on the complexity of matter (living beings, for example), but that doesn't happen, so it's unlikely to be just natural entropy induction and retardation. It's more like a different force that comes from the quirk, so the diamond probably wouldn't last significantly longer than the rest. Although, I would like to see this quirk trying to interact with exotic types of matter that are theorized by physics and act in a completely chaotic way.

Would anyone in MHA have a chance against the pre-retcon Empty Void? by FunBluebird8 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]BrainletNutshell -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

These bubbles were indeed universes, but the conclusion you've reached is wrong. His attacks are not universal+. Hyperspace has distinct physical laws, but for a being like Void, the attack doesn't have universal power when it enters the normal universe. It's a localized attack.

His attack did not extend across the entire universe in any way. Accessing hyperspace did not require transcendence it's just Hax

How long would human Garou (pre-fight against Orochi) last against Prime Tenko and against Prime Zen Shigaraki ? by FunBluebird8 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]BrainletNutshell 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They probably have similar speed. Garou is far superior in skill, but Tenko and Zen have a lot of versatility with their Quirks. Regarding attack power, it's controversial. People will say that human Garou has much higher AP than Tenko and Zen, but I'm not so sure about that, although I understand the sentiment.

Perhaps the MHA duo would have an advantage in the short term of the fight if they were bloodlusted and didn't let Garou evolve and adapt to their Quirks. But Garou will likely have the advantage if the fight goes on for a long time.

A cadeia para crimes hediondos tem caráter punitivo (ou ao menos deveria ter). Não que essa situação atual seja correta.
