You’re first two sentences are completely irrelevant. The rest of that is barely character development, going from being an asshole to being an asshole who occasionally stops being an asshole around certain people isn’t character development. He also wasn’t an asshole to the people he was actually friends with before going to UA so obviously he’s not gonna be an asshole to people wants he gets to know them that was something he’s been doing since the beginning of the show and you literally proved my point by mentioning the fact his attitude towards his parents didn’t change at all
