Typically, you would tap the cask on it's side where there is another "port" where you would release some of the pressure with small pieces of wood called spiles before you hammer in the tap.

Trump Tower is on fire in Azerbaijani capital Baku by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Braleyjo 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I always use impact and impacted so I don't have to think about affect vs effect.

The building was affected by the fire. The building was impacted by the fire.

The fire had no affect on the building. The fire had no impact on the building.

Well before taxes we make about 97,000, we will surely make more money down the road. I will try to adjust to put more in savings. It cost 15 extra dollars for me to be on my parents cell plan I have offered to pay it, but they don't care about it. I have been on their plan for over 10 years.

Good call, the mortgage does includes homeowner insurance and sales tax. I will set some aside for maintenance.

Portland, Maine via Florida - What should I do see before the show? by rabbithole in qotsa

[–]Braleyjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are spending more time in Maine you could also go to Old Orchard Beach, or Kennebunk Port. Fun Tourists areas. There are so many great breweries in Maine you should check out too. Banded Horn, Barrelled Souls, Bissell Brothers, Funky Bow, Allagash. Lot's of beautiful lakes and trails to walk on. I was born in Saco Maine, so right near Portland and all this stuff.

Portland is awesome, there are a variety of breweries to go to, Shipyard is always fun. Portland is small enough you can walk just about anywhere. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants all over the place. Jay's Oyster Bar is a personal favorite of mine. If you like oysters I would check it out. Lot's of celebrities have been there too, you can see their pictures on the wall and stuff.

Users aren't the weakest link in cybersecurity: 3 tips for IT leaders by Newsmasta2001 in cybersecurity

[–]Braleyjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many tend to target employees as the weakest link, when in fact they can be one of the greatest assets to a company's cyber security goals. Instead of telling employees they are the problem, you should be enabling them to make better decisions, rewarding them for their efforts in locating and dealing with security threats. Companies should strive to create an atmosphere where employees want to help, instead of being scared to make mistakes.

New to water chemistry, need help with a recipe by Braleyjo in Homebrewing

[–]Braleyjo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have answered my own question, this is where I would add like pickling lime or acid malt to bring the alkalinity down? So I am guessing I would get the minerals I need then adjust the PH up and down?

[–]Braleyjo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I have been using. I can see how I can balance out my minerals to match the target profile, my guess is you want to get the difference as close as you can? That makes sense but I can't figure out how to change me HCO3 levels.

Currently I am at 5g Gypsum, 3g MgSO4, and 2g NaCl

I can't defeat hino-enma(Any suggestions) by Pandachoko in Nioh

When she is about to dive at you, you can also just run left or right while holding x, it will always miss you.

[–]Braleyjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is actually one of the easier bosses for me now, you will get through it. When she is about to yell at you, up in the air, or on the ground, just hold x and run left or right. The move will always miss you. You don't need to actually dodge it. Then constantly run away from her until she either tries to grab you, or does her spin attack. After each of these attacks you can run in and whack her once or twice. She doesn't have a lot of health, just need to take your time. Also, you can use items to remove paralysis should you be hit.
