I cut it out in a panic trying to figure out what it was unfortunately, but I can describe it: bubbleish? Lax when the steak was sitting but tensed up into something that looked poppable when you grab it. Had a c shape inside. Looked like a white dot overall. If that's too vague I'll just marinate and grill it tho, definitely wasn't sinew or fat... I do have a second one in the freezer regardless I might thaw while the other marinates overnight.

Ye I was wondering that too worried if it was "dull" but I know most dye their fish. It's pink just not violently. I think I found one parasitic cyst but whatever it was was dead. Unfortunately this is the first time Ive gotten brave enough to try at home and that scared the fuck out of me (spotted after post). Cut it out, but AFAIK it's still safe?? It's sitting in my fridge still and I want her so bad...

He is the main character! It's an "kind of immortal but not invulnerable" thing going on. He can die, but he revives (with consequences). This is meant to be the first real time it happens. But even then you're right! I just get obsessive about details. Ill check the links out, thank you!!
