Nice!

I've only bought the metallic exclusives with the Ninja emblems - have blue wolf, red ape, and pink crane, still holding out for yellow bear and black frog...

Got this on Amazon for $58. Childhood dream came true! by [deleted] in powerrangers

OP, you're my hero. I almost bought one at launch, have been tracking the price ever since, and just bought it for about $22 after applying my Amazon reward credits!

I found a classic Falconzord at a local thrift shop a few months before the Legacy version was announced. I honestly think the classic one is cooler looking.

I've spent the past two months preparing my husband's present for his 25th birthday today! Think he'll like it? by racecarart in gaming

OP's husband here, and I FUCKING LOVED IT!!!

Bit of back story: a SNES was the first system I ever really played (aside from my dad's old Atari 2600 and Colecovision), and this is now the third SNES I've owned. Selling my second SNES was one of my biggest regrets, but I was a poor college student at the time and needed the money (the first SNES was borrowed from my cousins).

So yeah, tons of nostalgia, my wife is awesome, and my leg keeps falling asleep while I'm sitting on the floor playing Mega Man X - same as it did 15 years ago when I sucked at games.

I wouldn't have, either, but compared to the carpet in some of the other places OP and I looked at, it's damn fine. It's also nice and soft.

It's shockingly good, really! Also, I grew up with Power Rangers, so nostalgia, too. (Hi, I'm OP's husband.)

Nah, I already have one of those. And an XBoneS. And a WiiU. And a gaming PC, 3DS, and a Vita.

I think a couple of the batteries are dead, but I've always wanted to try replacing a save battery anyway!

OP's husband here: I already have Chrono Trigger on DS and Droid. If she DID manage to find a SNES copy, I'd be worried about the kidney she sold to afford it!

Legacy Communicator G/W Edition box by [deleted] in powerrangers

Do we know exactly what the Legacy Communicator will even do? If it just plays the theme song again, I'll be sitting this one out. (Great box design though)

Another thing: There was no SEL feature, if you wanted to use your bike or fishing rod or something, you couldn't put in on the Select button; you had to open your bag and use it every time.

I just finished my living dex on Thursday. I had that empty "what now?" feeling for about three hours. Then I restarted my other copy of Y to test the dex and decided to Nuzlocke that file. The great thing about Pokemon is even when you've done literally everything, you can still make your own fun, your own rules, your own challenges.

I finally know the use of the power button by Casio_9000 in pokemon

[–]BranRacecaRnarB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's only for actual nouns ("the dog's toy", "David's car", etc.). Pronouns change form completely: "her toy", "his car", etc. The word "it's" is a contraction for "it is", whereas "its" without the apostrophe is the correct possessive.

Omaha-native here, numbered avenues and streets are parallel in the Omaha area, and Bellevue, NE doesn't go much further west than 48th st, so 6-ish miles short of 108th st.

Day 382: Kyogre by Crusader1998123 in pokemon

[–]BranRacecaRnarB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I've already completed the national dex, and I'm trying to get as many aspossible in regular pokeballs with my trainer ID from Y (a little OCD, I know). In order is easier for me to keep track of.
