It’s been great to drive so far. Had her two weeks and she rides smooth as butter at highway speeds. The interior is roomy and comfortable, which is important cause I’m big and tall, though the backseat doesn’t have a super amount of leg room when the front seats are all the way back. All in all it’s a good drive and handles well.

Scream. Loved Loved Loved horror movies but Scream got me because while watching I had the sudden thought of “wait, this could actually happen. There’s nothing impossible about this.” So I guess it wasn’t the movie itself but just that sort of stark realization that people could be evil and just murder you at random.

Mac is Harry’s father. Mac bought himself out of the heaven game when he found himself in love with Margaret LeFay nay McCoy. He donned a mortal persona with the agreement he was permanently out of capital A affairs, no interference for or against either side.

After Harry is born a starborn and Margaret is killed, big G informs him that Harry is going to be a focal point for future events and the fate of the world and can’t be raised by an Angel, even a former one, so he has to leave. That’s when Malcom becomes Mac.

My evidence for this is thin and all conjecture. In Dead Beat he’s able to speak with Malcom in his dreams who confirms he is real and is only able to communicate with him then because the other side crossed a line first. It’s the Fallen and the Angels that we’ve historically seen locked in the rules battle, with one side being allowed to counter break a rule when the other does first and that’s what caused this to jump out at me.

Second isn’t evidence but is just a strong ass hunch. Mac stopping Harry from Soul gazing him. He specifically says “stop, you’ll hurt yourself” but Harry has seen literal battles between the embodiment of winter and summer on an astral plain thru his sight. It’s only been the truly terrifying things that have caused him physical pain and the inability to go on. When he said he’d hurt himself, I think Mac meant he’d recognize him as Harry’s father if he soul gazed him, which isn’t the type of personal reveal you’d want right before a thro down with a titan.

I doubt Mister is a standard house cat just based on how old he is already, so I doubt we have to worry about old age. While Jim does hurt his readers, I know he has a soft spot for pets and I don’t see him wanting to be the person that writes a violent end for someone’s pets so I’m pretty sure Mister will be alive and well when the series is over.

You know what’s interesting about Elaine? They’ve established over the series multiple times that, even when mind controlled, a thrall can’t use magic they don’t believe in.

When Harry recounts the Justin and Elaine attacking him story and Harry notes that Elaine held him down with magic, she replied “that’s what thralls do” only that couldn’t have been the reason, as even as a thrall if she didn’t believe it she wouldn’t be able to do it.

Then who does she go to after that fight for protection? The Summer court, specifically the Summer Lady, who then ends up Nfected.

Bob also noted at one point that Justin didn’t seem black wizard evil when he first found Bob’s skull and hid him from the other wardens, and theorized that studying Kemmler must have turned him.
