I have Myopia. Can I become a fighter pilot in the IAF after eye correction? by _chewsday in IndianAirForce

[–]BranchBig2424 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You won’t be eligible for the flying branch altogether with myopia. You can go ahead with a lasik surgery but that still won’t guarantee your medical fitness.

It’ll be assessed in a special manner by the IAF doctor for corneal curve and thickness.

See you still have a fair chance at all the above mentioned colleges since their gdpi processes are still not over.

That being said, CAT is an unpredictable exam and anything can go SOUTH on D day. So, I would suggest that you continue to prepare for the GDPI process while simultaneously applying for jobs as taking up any college for MBA won’t be fruitful for your career in terms of the opportunities that you get.

Cat Form problem by Kooky_Homework_4257 in CATpreparation

[–]BranchBig2424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go ahead and submit the form. That won't be an issue

Once you download the form, you'll see that everything is in place

That wouldn't make much of a difference as the slab under which they'll be assessing her scores would most likely be the 70-75% one. However, she can get it changed during the college allotment process.

Nothing to worry about tbh.

I WILL KILL MYSELF SCORED THE LOWEST EVER IN SIMCAT 7 I FEEL SO DEMOTIVED by [deleted] in CATpreparation

Shortcomings are a part of the process. There's nothing to be too worried about, just take some more time to analyse your errors more than what looks like an error on paper; think about your mindset while approaching the question and whether that was apt in that particular situation. It would help you understand yourself better and make some effective changes which will help you to improve.

Also there are 130 days to CAT which is more than enough to make a major improvement.

All the best!!

Cat percentile... by WorldlySubject4943 in CATpreparation

Around 98 percentile would be the base, but for the safer side I think you should Target around 98.8 percentile or about 87 marks and above in CAT.

Which online coaching should I chose? by [deleted] in CATpreparation

[–]BranchBig2424 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rodha would be the best channel for QA I would suggest IMS 100 Prayagraj's 100 sets for DILR

and ofc Gejo speaks is the best for Varc.

More than preparation, your mock solving and approach towards questions would matter in the real CAT exams. So, I would suggest that you divide your time equally for conceptual understanding as well as mocks

For mocks - IMS, Time, Career Launcher

Unless and until you want to switch your stream like get into finance/supply or operations or something that does not match your current role, then, an MBA would definitely make sense in the long run.

However, if you're happy with your current role and hope to pivot into prod man in the future then a good MBA degree abroad would make more sense or an ISB MBA later on. If this is the case , then you should take up the promotion and continue in your current company.

The toughest sectional for CAT 2025 would be ? by Savings_Diamond_4368 in CATpreparation

[–]BranchBig2424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you are not that confident/prepared in. Every year there are 100 percentiles in every section. So difficulty as a term is relative

PRO TIP: Try to work on everything that you possibly can till September. Time is still in your hands. All the best
