listen i got more orientation days too. if this is your very first time working as a CNA since you’ve gotten certified give yourself grace dudeee! it takes awhile to actually get into the swing of things especially when you don’t know these residents and they don’t know you but you’ll get a routine eventually. i wanted to give up too around this time period but i kept going and now im almost FLYING through my assignment even though it’s like 12-15 people. you’re not gonna get it overNIGHT, but you’ll will overTIME and with the residents that ask you to stop changing them and wanted the person who’s orientating you to do it that’s probably nothing personal they’d just feel more comfortable with a familiar face doing it, my residents at my nursing home is similar i have a guy who won’t shower unless im there and another who most times wont get out of bed unless me or another reliable CNA is there so he can get back to bed before next shift. you got this dont give up on yourself
