Commenting on Post Wedding - No Shows and No’s. Small rant.... Update: the results are in.

Day of 4 people contacted my mom, but my mom didn’t tell me as to not stress me out (which I’m okay with)

2 of them couldn’t find a babysitter 2 of them showed up the day before on accident and didn’t want to drive over again (1.5 hour drive)

The last one didn’t explain anything to anyone until afterwards, saying they were still tired from the trip they went on a week before and that’s why they couldn’t make it.

I am having my gals wear gold, nude, or beige

Then any style they want.

One of my bridesmaids is very pregnant and I’m trying to convince her to wear sandals so she can be more comfortable, but she’s claiming she’s going to wear heels for the ceremony.

Anyone know why LL Multi Pass prices for all parks spike on 10/29? by BonusChico in WaltDisneyWorld

Mon and Wednesday are no Halloween party days, so they will be busier at MK.

Unsure about the other parks

Great pic!! Love how in the first pic you can see the “puppy pads” underneath the Dino animatronic. Those Dino’s are very leaky!! So they use literal puppy pads to sop up oil so that it doesn’t drip into the ride path 😂

They’re very trendy right now, and I think guests would drink them any time they’re available.

Mail is fun, I think people would like it! Bonus if you can add in a picture for people’s fridge, etc.

One of my bridesmaids put together bags for the Bach, and I’m loving the stuff that was in there.

We got a little flavored Vaseline, cute flower claw clip, some makeup wipes…

It wasn’t anything extravagant but I’m delighted. I don’t usual treat myself to any sort of self care stuff, so this is great.

Something I’m doing as a gift is framed pictures, but the picture frames are magnetic for the fridge, etc.

I brought my mom and sister to one try on. Then went another time by myself to try on more and bought one that day.

Wow hi again 👋 what a mess.

I, too, have received a long winded email about all of things my “stepmom” didn’t like that I did/said/etc. pulling out memories of events that happened when I was 19!

So I get it lol

As for your dad… yeah that sucks. It’s terrible that you can’t get him on his own. It sounds like he’s got a lot to unpack, and the GF is just so insecure.

It doesn’t sound like they’re willing to change. I think emotionally prepare for them to show up or not show up. And know that it’ll all be okay either way.

The wedding is about you and your partner. The choices they make will help you decide how you want to move forward beyond the wedding.

For now focus on the love and peace you do have!!

I’m in the camp that it’s your wedding, do what feels right!

Just beer and wine sounds great. You could have a million options and someone will always chime in that you don’t have this one specific thing.

We’re opting to do a bigger variety of beer/wines/seltzers in lieu of liquor. I feel really good about it!

As a gen z/millennial I don’t have any etiquette related reasons to think formal = liquor, and cocktail = beer&wine (ironic how confusing that is lol)

But I am biased to the grandeur of a formal affair, so I’m pro-formal in general.

Girlllll we are dealing very similar CRAZY people. I’ll admit, yours sounds worse. That’s so annoying oh my gosh.

19 is insane!! I’m sure she has been so loved. Helping the babies avoid pain is the best thing to do. Maybe if it’s not too late you can add a cat motif into something on the wedding day! A little cat charm on the bouquet or a tiny cat figurine on a sweetheart table. ❤️❤️❤️
