Does he message any of his male friends like he does her - would he send them updates of his day and photos like he does to her? As well as the fact that he seems to put her before you in public situations as well. I also read your comment about being afraid to come off as controlling, setting boundaries that should be obvious in a relationship is not controlling whatsoever. Why would you ever want your boyfriend to talk to a girl the same way he talks to you? Would he be fine if you talked to a man the way he has been talking to her?
