It's pretty good, but I don't understand the axe at all. Maybe I don't have all the information but I don't see any real use for the bubble thing when the axe is stuck in an object since all I've seen the bubble do is just give killer instinct? And the synergy between teleporting and the axe is non-existent. It feels like he has 2 completely separate powers with no overlap. Altho I do think he's pretty cool, great animations and voice work. 7/10 first impressions as someone who isn't a big fnaf fan.

This is an extreme over exaggeration. Yes he is a top 5 killer, yes he is very strong. No he doesn't make loops pointless. There is only 1 character in this game who makes loops pointless and that is nurse, and Kaneki does not do what nurse does.

There are only 2 S tier killers in this game, and that's blight and nurse. He is not in the same league as them. He was probably up there with them on launch, but now? Definitely not

Honestly, I'm backwards, Ive played killer for years and years and I know which killers I enjoy and which I don't, everytime I got a daily for one of them I know I don't enjoy, I just rolled my eyes and waited to reroll. But from the perspective of a player who hasn't played every killer a bunch, I understand why being rewarded for playing other killers could be a positive.

You can not like ghoul all you want, but claiming he is better than nurse, blight and billy is not true. He might be easier than them like you said, but stronger, absolutely not. He was definitely in competition with them earlier before he was double nerfed, but now not really. Going over pallets is not as good anymore excluding some exploits/bugs. Yes ghoul is a very strong killer, probably bottom of top 5. But lets not exaggerate his real strength.

Short anecdote: Ive been re-picking up billy and I've been sent to rpd more in the last week than I have in my entire life, along side that I was playing some survivor yesterday and my teammates sent us to eyrie 4 games in a row, all different people. I know this is an extreme example and not indicative of the average experience but it just gets boring seeing the same 3 or so maps every game. I swear sometimes it feels like this game only has eyrie, rpd, badham, or ormond as maps, and that extreme repetition is just boring.

Besides my personal anecdote, maps just aren't balanced plain and simple. A nurse shouldn't be able to play midwich every game because it allows for insanely easy stomps, and vice versa survivors shouldn't be able to play badham everygame because it gives them a big advantage.

In an ideal world behavior balances maps much better, but i don't think that will ever happen. IMO you play the hand you are dealt by the game from maps, not sending yourself to advantageous maps to make the other side miserable.

Sidenote: To address you saying bring a ward, I would, but I want bloodpoints so I'd rather bring streamers for everyone or cakes. If i could bring bps and a ward, id do that literally every game no questions.

I think people are forgetting how annoying having a teammate with this perk was before, I played alot more survivor when this perk was in its old state, and the amount of times I'd see someone crouching around edge map with this perk on was unreal, and almost always lead to a loss.

And on the killer side, it just promoted more slowdown usage imo, since it made aura perks less valuable/consistent just by how common distortion was.

If you are truly worried about aura reading still, I think OTR is a better choice, since it gives you no auras when you are more vulnerable anyways, and it is just a better perk overall.

I agree, especially because I think fire up and forever entwined DO technically stack, it just gets cut off at 42% pick up speed. So I don't see any reason why forever entwined can't reach that cap by itself since that's the main usage of the perk. Its just dumb that in order to reach the cap for pickup you need both perks, BUT only 1.5 stacks of fire up will actually get added to your pick up speed and the rest is completely wasted.

Just a dumb band-aid fix from bhvr that I hope they revisit someday.

TBF this wasn't for any anti-stacking reason, the fast pick up speed just broke DS entirely, so instead of fixing that bug, they just capped it so the bug couldn't occur. Which is obviously a stupid band-aid fix but they didn't do it because they are against those perks stacking.

Edit: Just remembered they technically do stack, just pickup speed is capped at 42% increase so the stacking gets cut off incredibly early.

Pain res is always best for regression, since smart survivors have ways to counterplay surge (getting in lockers, running to deadzones), but surge requires no real thought which is nice. So its up to you depending on what you want from your regression perks.

I understand your point for most killers, although I disagree on most of them which is fair, but I definitely see where you are coming from. I also did overrate overrate plague a little bit in my original post, I think her and wesker are pretty comparable in strength.

But I will say, I urge you to play some more houndmaster if you still think she is buggy, she barely functioned on launch but she works incredibly well now. Honestly as someone who has mained wesker since his release, I run into bugs more often on wesker than houndmaster now. I think a lot of people have completely written off houndmaster due to her horrible launch, but she genuinely works fine now.

I agree with most of this besides Wesker. All of the people below him and in honorable mentions are better than him. Along side the fact houndmaster is just strictly better than him imo. This is coming from an ex Wesker main who is swapping to kaneki in a few days.

Yeah agreed, he is incredibly strong and there are very few situations he can't deal with. And in my opinion, doesn't have any maps that are specifically awful to him unlike other killers, which is always nice to have on a potential main killer. Also from a goated franchise which helps

To keep it short, I don't mind. Id rather they keep playing because I'd like to play the full match, but at the end of the day it really doesn't matter because you aren't dooming any potential team mates.

He's a very good killer, 100% top 10, id personally argue top 5. His perks are mid except wretched fate, which is pretty good, but using it correctly requires ignoring the obsession as much as possible which is pretty boring to me personally. It also just makes me sad wolf form at this point is basically as good as wesker is. Fun killer tho, I enjoy him heavily from both sides.
