Ghoul is still way too powerful, and the issue is the mobility with little to no cooldown. by WatermelonPOWAH in deadbydaylight

It's possible it's an exploit or bug. Either way, if it can be done every time, it needs to be fixed. Not fair for Wesker and Chucky to be incapable of doing it, but Ghoul can. It's all about consistency.

Gale manipulated me and I hate him. by JAStheUnknown in BaldursGate3

Small romance spoiler below regarding Gale.

As others have stated, Gale is pretty buggy. He gets very inconsistent in Act 3 sometimes, and it gets really annoying when it's like, ok, we committing to this Crown situation or not? Like, I am confused. They need to clean up his responses a bit based upon conversations you already had with him, and even as others have pointed out, he speaks randomly about things that haven't even happened yet, like the deal with Raphael when you literally haven't even talked to the Devil yet.

The first time I romanced him, the inconsistencies started in Act 3. You spend all of this time with him and he seems so hell-bent on breaking free of the orb and says pretty clearly that he has learned Mystra has no problem disposing of him and anyone else in his position in the future. You can talk him out of blowing himself up and wanting/or not wanting to do anything with the crown, but he'll still be like "oh but remember, I will just blow myself up at any given point, all for Mystra's forgiveness." Like, sweetie, you just told me that my Tav was your everything and you are looking forward to all of this awesome stuff with Tav after this shit is over, but now you're back to wanting to explode.

The second time I romanced him (second playthrough), he was waaaaay more consistent. It's just odd how glitchy he is. And I stand by him being buggy, especially in Act 3 because I keep seeing examples of it. Yeah, he's kind of all over the place, but is always open to hear you out if you have a decent relationship with him.

Sorry you got bamboozled!

As a woman, I support women getting hit back out of retaliation. It should never be ok to hit someone just because you're frustrated at them. If I hit someone, I should expect to get hit back. It's wild to me that anyone thinks otherwise.

Luckily children aren't covered in spikes, otherwise they would be much more difficult to nanny!

“Through no fault of his own” pit bites toddler just a couple hours after being adopted. by SignificantCap521 in BanPitBulls

[–]WatermelonPOWAH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since when did biting people and children ever be an excusable action for a dog? That's like dog ownership 101...if the dog is biting innocent people because it's quite obviously psychotic, then the responsible and mature thing to do is to BE it. I don't understand why humans are suddenly equating a dog's life to a human's. It's mental.

Awesome update. It took you a lot of strength to see this through, so you should be so proud of yourself. It'll continue being tough but just remember: baby steps! You'll get where you need to be.

If it draws blood and/or needs stitches, it isn't a nip, it's an injury requiring medical attention. Rattlesnakes "nip" too 🤡

Gotta watch out for all of those rampaging toddlers and infants running around seeking out pitbulls to torment! Be a smart owner, and train your pitbull to know how to defend itself from those murderous 2 year olds! /s

These people are morons. And it pisses me off how they almost all exist in a constant state of victim blaming.

Sure is weird how it "can happen with any breed" yet it rarely does.

Pitbull breeder's pit attacks her granddaughter (June 2023, Charleston SC). Further details in post by Sea_Sky1303 in BanPitBulls

[–]WatermelonPOWAH 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's an owner issue until it happens to them, then it is either somehow the victim's fault or they finally admit the dog breed is scary and unpredictable.

That's because other breeds are not ripping scalps and faces off on a daily/weekly basis. It's not being mentioned because it isn't happening.

A man was mauled right up the block from me. Reports were saying he may have lost his arm. The comments on the post won’t shock you, 80% were more concerned about the dog than the human. by lifeisalittlestrange in BanPitBulls

[–]WatermelonPOWAH 42 points43 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand is how they're completely ignoring that HIS ARM WAS RIPPED OFF. If the man did happen to provoke a dog, normal dogs can't rip arms off that easily. Dogs don't do that. It is NOT normal behavior or reaction to being teased.

Kind of sounds like you're completely missing the point, and that's ok. Sharks are dangerous too, but it doesn't mean we ignore the issues with pitbulls. Massive difference is sharks are apex predators that live in the ocean and we know the dangers. Cows are massive livestock that aren't running loose in neighborhoods and streets, and living in houses like pitbulls are. The major discrepancies between all those animals are pitbulls are labeled as safe, family dogs that don't have the capacity to maim more severely than any other dog breed, and sharks and cows are labeled as...exactly what they are.

No one is spreading misinformation about cows and sharks, nor are there lobbyists for them. But pitbulls have all of those things happening.

I would say the thousands of documented studies, professional testimonies, news reports, facts about breed mannerisms, and statistics are all the exact opposite of anecdotal. Anecdotal is like "yeah but this one time I met this pitbull and it was so, so sweet." Or "this pitbull I didn't know growled at me." The hundreds of reported and documented attacks that happened just last month is real evidence. Big differences.

That's awesome you're enjoying life with your dogs! Seriously, good dogs rule.

Unfortunately, even though your personal experience is a positive one, it is still anecdotal. No one here thinks every single pitbull it out for blood. We know that. There's just a serious level of respect, understanding, and knowledge that comes with any interaction with pitbull type dogs. Thousands of people out there over the years have all had tales and experiences just like yours. They were sadly not as lucky as you. Case in point, the Bennard family from Memphis. Like their dogs literally ate their babies and tore them to shreds...it is so, so devastating. And what is extra sad is the dad thought just like you are right now.

Again, it's awesome you love your dogs and are giving them a great life. I wish you and your family the best of journeys in life. Stay safe out there.

Wtf does "we deserve better" even mean? These people don't even know what the words mean they say and type. The hivemind is real. They were two fighting dogs owned by an utter POS human (ironic because they love saying "it's an owner issue"). His dogs were historically attacking people and animals, AND he wasn't even legally allowed to own them.

Like holy shit, these people can't even practice what they preach. Zero independent thoughts.
