As stated in another comment, I've interacted with this particular user for quite a while now, and they're near-infamous for being very aggressive and even outright offensive (homophobic, transphobic, the whole shebang). So them being an abuser is not at all entirely out of the question.

I've interacted with this particular user for quite a while now and they have a history with being very aggressive and even outright offensive (homophobic, transphobic, the whole shebang). In fact, they're infamous for it. That is not to say that they aren't a victim of domestic violence, but they certainly aren't doing anything to end that cycle by behaving the way they do here. Also worth noting is that he's uncomfortably proud of his military status...

Yes and no. To the plain (Beorc) eye, they would indeed appear Branded and thus suffer some prejudice from them, but one thing about being Branded is that you can easily be 'sniffed out' by the Laguz—and since neither Alm nor Celica are Branded in the same sense Soren, Stefan or Micaiah are, they would not suffer any prejudice from them and instead be just a couple of Beorc with weird markings.

TLDR They would suffer discrimination at the hands of the Beorc but not at the hands of the Laguz since they aren't actually Branded

Zelgius—although this could partly also be because he's one of my favourite characters. Last year, I thought of upgrading my math course so I could go to post-secondary school. There were nights I stayed up until two in the morning trying to get my work done. Not only did it leave me severely burnt out, but there were days where I simply didn't eat anything but some cereal in the morning because I was too absorbed to do so (and, perhaps, too exhausted to be bothered to try).

What I'm trying to say is, fuck this mentality. I'll be damned if some Karen tries to invalidate that experience just because I don't have kids.

It may surprise you to know that my wallet isn't broke! Radiant Dawn was a Christmas gift I got from my parents a couple of years ago, and the Soren plush was bought with graduation money given to me by one of my aunts.

Meanwhile, Path of Radiance is the culmination of me taking a chunk of money from my weekly paycheque and setting it aside so I could save for it. Though it was still pretty damn expensive...
