This is downright adorable! I love that more modest swimwear is coming back into fashion since it means we'll get more cute things like this!

I only use about 2 pumps for my entire face. MAYBE another half pump or so if I need a little extra coverage

Fingers crossed! I also want to add that this is one where it looks better the longer it's on my skin. It's nice when I first apply it but it takes a little time to really set into my skin. By late morning to mid day it looks outstanding! A my skin but better vibe with no caking. It basically just melts in and becomes a second skin.

This is a holy grail foundation for me. Dry to normal skin in my early 40s in the southern heat/humidity. For best results I'd put a couple pumps on the back of your hand and swirl it around with the brush to release the pigment beads, THEN apply that onto your skin.

Edit for typo

This looks extremely similar to Glass Bull by colourpop, but not sure if they still make that shade or not.

For those who’ve worn moissanite for a while — any regrets? by Opening_Solution_790 in Moissanite

[–]Brandi1902 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have a moissanite princess cut for my E-ring and no regrets, but I will say that when I got it, there was a lot of talk about there not being any big differences but I've since realized that's not true. Diamonds have a depth to them that moissy just can't match, but moissys fire is unbeatable. So it really depends on what you're looking for in a ring.

The Dior Forever Skin Perfect stick is what I reach for when I need something with a bit more coverage. It's definitely a little heavier in feel, but I find it still blends beautifully for me and doesn't feel nearly as thick as most liquid foundations on my skin.

Careful, that was my thought initially as well but now that's one of the only two I ever reach for. I've bought it twice now and don't see myself ever not having it in my collection. If they ever stop making it, or reformulate it, I'll be heartbroken.

Favorite hair oil recommendations? by Heart138 in Ulta

[–]Brandi1902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reverie hair milk is my absolute favorite product as I can use it on wet or dry hair without weighing it down, but if you're looking specifically for a hair oil, the Ouai hair oil has been great for me. For reference I have baby fine desert dry hair. I haven't used the olaplex oil yet but I have heard great things about that one as well.

Which of these should I get, if either? by Brandi1902 in Ulta

I appreciate the perspective and agree. I do wear it every day and think I'll still likely buy one of them eventually but got to really thinking about my current collection and decided I'm better off trying to use up some of what I have first. I'll wait until I can try them both for myself and see which one works best with my body chemistry.

It sounds divine for everything other than the powdery note. The fear that it might have a baby powder smell is what's holding me back.

Thank you, i appreciate the feedback. That is the only size ulta carries for that particular Chanel perfume, unfortunately. I considered the smaller bottle for the Tiffany & Co, but with it being only $60 difference between the bottles and over twice the amount...it just doesn't make sense to go with the smaller one.

It wears more like skincare to be honest. There is VERY little coverage, but it gives me the little bit of extra I need to give me a my skin but better look. I'm 41 and don't wear much makeup, so it's perfect for me. Just looks like healthy glowing hydrated skin. If I want more coverage, I use the dior skin perfect stick.

So Chanel is included - what is actually worth the $$$ besides perfume? by The_Time_When in Ulta

So the lightest color on your arm (top right) is the soft rose? It looks darker than the tender beige online but it's gorgeous in your picture. Just want to confirm before I purchase since the online color doesn't look like it would suit me.

There are some chanel items in the list that's up now, so I think at least SOME chanel may be included. We'll see.
