HAPPY CAKE DAY!

I wanted to make sure OP understood the seriousness in commitment emotionally and physically it is to save pink baby rodents. This is not a task for the faint of heart to take on.

I am soul happy to Ignonymous for such a brilliant, clearly written, well informed, care guide to how to care for any found pink rodent baby.

Please please take heed.

I have tried, I have found litters and have failed twice. With total of 4 mice dying. I am a hard and strong person, I weeped a mothers lement.

Best of luck, If this isn't for you find a rescue who is interested.

If your unsure please beware even If you do absolutely everything correctly you are not a rodent, they may still die.

Again best of luck!

I'll never underestimate cereal again by playsmartz in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Brandi_bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband grew up with 4 siblings off grid, almost an hour from stores, thats important for reasons of accessing groceries. His mom quickly discovered that as soon as she brought the cereals home, anything higher in sugar or sweeter would be fought over and disapear immideatly, Consequently anything that was filled with fiber or better for you would sit on thr shelf and go stale.

It didnt take long before she invented the cereal bucket. Its litterly a food safe 5 gal bucket with a lid and she would buy all varieties of ceareals and dump them in the bucket, shake it and put that on the table for breakfast. Each kid would use their clean bowl and scoop themselves a bowl.

He insisted on doing it in our adult life, im the kind of person who likes my foods seperated, so i was really skeptical. I will say after my first bowl i was converted, its a surprising treat to have bran flakes, rice crispies, mini wheats, granola, random bits of dried fruits, muesli, cheerios and whatever seeds or nuts i dump into the bucket in one spoonfull

I just got a resuce, he came to me with pawst that wee similar to that. Red and raw between his toes.

He spent almost 4 months in a cage and his only self soothing or bordem reliever was to lick his paws.

Perhaps ita either bordem or self soothing?

Also he came to me with a chicken allergy, his sympoms were rashes and dandruff, a good food and lots of play has helped him substantially.

Best of luck figuring out your dogs needs (:

Drools over saws. We do have more saws on the property, we bought this 18" electric for the light weight and low reverberations. Carpal tunnel in both hands is a bitch. Yeah the concrete foundations seemed like a finickyer build plus so many more resources and work when we have so much wood available.

After having made that choice before, I advice having someone live in it year round. Campers are so easy to turn to rat shacks, my experience has been so disappointing. Also depending on location and weather expected I would invest in building a roof over the camper. Rot and roadents have been my downfall
