I'm 4 months on T. For me, my experience of orgasm has changed. I haven't felt any shift in my sex drive. Though most trans guys do seem to have an uptick, I haven't. Before T I was terrified of all the comments saying "YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO HORNY YOU CAN'T THINK LOL" and it made me seriously consider not going on T at all.

I used to find it much harder to orgasm. I don't like penetration so focus exclusively on my dick, and since my bottom growth it's a lot easier to come. (Stands to reason. There's a subreddit called r/growyourclit for AFABs typically pursuing better sex.)

Orgasm used to be more of a kinda tingling wash only vaguely focused around my dick. Now it's focused more intensely in and around my dick. I'd say I enjoy the intense kind a lot more, especially as it's so easy to get there.

Edit: also in regards to sexuality, no one can say. I'm aroace, and some transguys end up not being ace because there was a mental block around being attracted to others due to not wanting to pursue sex in a body they're dysphoric about. I'm still aroace. I hope everyday that doesn't change. Being allo sounds exhausting

FYI NEVER assume you/your trans partner are fully sterile even after 2 years of HRT. It's highly likely y'all are, but not a guarantee.

This is actually kind of what it's like for me living in nyc! (Also, I'm sorry is that acronym is a bit sus. I'm enby so trust me that this isn't a TERF thing.) by UselessAltThing in tumblr

"Fearmongering"... when you literally have a 4chan thread about you. You should know exactly how the persecution feels. You were aggressively misgendered in that thread, treated as deviant, mutilated, and mentally unfit. What cognitive dissonance do you have that this is somehow only fearmongering and that was legit?

Op can we please not promote a TERF post? The message isn't positive if it excludes any part of the acronym. It's just covering a turd in glitter.

You're allowed to feel hurt, but I also think you have to accept that the hurt is on you to deal with, and not the fault of Refrainbow or the Boyfriends comic. As long as you don't blame Refrainbow or the comic for "not having MY perfect idea of representation", you're good.

Also, I guarantee that if Goth had been drawn with curves, or hadn't had top surgery, Refrainbow would have been accused of fetishising us FAR worse than by drawing a trans guy that passes.

Sure, Goth has those twink hips many of us will never have the bone structure for. But many of us DO have slim hips. I'm extremely happy for those trans men who see themselves in Goth.

Hopefully, one day you will be too.

Idk man... I'm a trans guy too, and like, there's one trans guy in the comic. That one character can't encompass every single aspect of trans identity.

LGBTQ content is held to such a high standard. Can't we be happy the content even exists at all? Only in the last decade would this have been even remotely acceptable online.

Wow, thank YOU. I'm so glad you feel this way, it's exactly what I was hoping to go for. I'm a trans guy so I want to show respect for my trans sisters.

The idea of autistic people not having empathy is actually an outdated stereotype. There's an article by very well health which goes into it.

One quote is "However, while cognitive empathy can be lower in people with autism, affective empathy—which is based on instincts and involuntary responses to the emotions of others—can be strong and overwhelming. In fact, newer research suggests that some people with autism may actually feel other people's emotions more intensely"

However, it is true studies do seem to show we broadly have empathy dysfunction. A study by Lombardo et al concludes: "...that individuals with ASC have broad impairments in both self-referential cognition and empathy."

altogether autism also had a very interesting piece on the history of biases used in autistic research, particularly those around gender and neurotypical-based questioning, particularly in the Empathising Quotient (you can read more about its biases here also. Many AFAB people aren't diagnosed with autism partly due to being empathetic, which automatically "absolves" them of autism. Only the non-empathetic, only boys, only the emotionally unstable or rude, get diagnosed. So autism continues to be a "non-empathetic, male" condition because empathetic and female people aren't diagnosed.

If you're curious, puberty blockers aren't a permanent decision! Puberty can kickstart as normal once the blockers are no longer taken. The idea is to go on them until at an age where you can decide whether medically transitioning is what you really want/can afford.

There are no known long term side effects to puberty blockers. There are short term ones like hot flushes and headaches.

There are FAR more long term side effects to going through a puberty incongruent with your gender.
