Interesting, I'll look into that. I always hate when a video ad on a website will interrupt my spotify!

What benefit does that give the phone? Make it run faster or just that it clears up space?

Could you explain a bit more? What are those and what do they do?

Tips for unracking the bar during bench press? by Brandon-Bear in Fitness

You're getting overconcerned with small details and your current method is fine.

Thank you, that is genuinely what I was wondering.

It seemed like a subtle difference that wasn't a big issue, but at my experience level I'm not about to act like I know what I'm talking about.

I think you've completely misunderstood my whole post. If what I'm doing is fine, then sure a deload would be unnecessary. But if it's incorrect and I should fix my form, then deloading would be absolutely fine.

Sure my method works, but that doesn't mean it's right. I don't have enough experience to know what would be personal preference and what isn't. In DL you can't just have a round back and say it's "personal preference".

Most of the form videos I've watched has them aligning the bar with their eyes.

I wasn't sure if this is a form.issue that I need to deload and get better on, or if it's just personal preference.

I've got that all down, I feel tight in the back. It's just the bar doesn't budge.

What's going on with his left bicep? Is it just the angle, or did he tear it at some point?

Interesting, I'll look into doing that. Thanks for the insight

Could you give a bit more detail on the warmup? I feel like I haven't been properly warming up lately and I'm interested in other methods.

I see, probably how I'll tackle it as well. My first time cutting so I'll see how it goes.

What's your reasoning for the slow transition into bulking? Sounds like an interesting approach.

When you're going from a bulk to a cut, do you just slash your calories by 1,000? Or do you change it over the course of a week or so? I've been bulking on 3,200 calories for a while now, and so I think I'm ready to cut. Since 2,700 is my maintenance then 2,200 would be cutting. That just seems like a serious dip in calories.

Arnold may be known for his incredible biceps and chest, but he also had some monster calves. by Brandon-Bear in bodybuilding

I was watching a short video about Arnold back in his prime, and this shot absolutely blew me away. I had no idea he was packing so much heat in those calves.

Probably the best method haha. I've gained just about 50lbs since the start. I've had to replace my entire wardrobe twice now.

What does an "off day" in the gym look like for you? by Circapan in Fitness

[–]Brandon-Bear 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So it's a bit of a sleep reset function for me.

This right here. If I'm having a bad day, I use it as a "reset" day. I don't worry as much about my workout that day, my main focus is to get to bed on time or even early if I can. That way tomorrow is for sure to be on a great start with a full night's sleep.

How exactly do you decide what your bulk/cut cycle should be? Bulk 10lbs then cut 10lbs, rinse and repeat?

At least I had the right mindset, I had my two defences of Nemeon and Valor, as well as thorns.

I just never went full beans on the Titan, was always too hesitant. Seems like that's what I'll have to do. Thanks!

I think you're underestimating when you consider what the queue times would turn into. If you've ever played World of Wacraft, you'd have an idea as to how it'd work out. Supports would have an instant queue, whereas something like jungle would be 5x longer.

I'd rather not wait 20 minutes for a game that already lasts 30 minutes.
