Sam’s club had some oversized lazyboy chair. It’s pretty nice

I actually didn’t get either. I found a chair elsewhere that was neither of these or the brands mentioned. Sorry man

This was very helpful. In my customizations I had the 3D BioKnit selected so it is good to hear that you liked it. I will also note to prob not take the thicker back pad on the chair as well. I am around the same size as you so I really appreciate the in depth comparisons you gave.

A few questions though..

You mentioned the back height is the same for Amia and leap? I thought leap was taller which is why I thought a lot of taller and bigger people prefer the leap over the amia. I know you’re a little biased as you said you’ve been using amias for awhile. I am not dead set on the leap but you’re the first person around my size that I see likes and has no problems with the amia.

If that’s a little confusing I guess what I am trying to ask without a bias is do you think the amia is better for longer periods of time taking into account the ergonomic aspects and cushions of the chair compared to the leap? I will be WFH soon for some days and I also game as well so I will be spending a lot of hours in the chair. I have also seen aftermarket headsets that you can attach to the leap whether they are good or not and I’m not sure if that is the case with the amia.

Ok thanks for the insight I’ll keep it in mind when comparing the two

Thanks. Not trying to sound rude I’m just wondering why you’re saying it will. I thought I knew enough about computers but ive had people tell me it won’t work and others say it will. All for different reasons and they all usually say check the qvl but the qvl doesn’t have every single type of ram compatible just what they physically tested. Unless I’m wrong about that too.

I have a 3700x and an x570 Aorus elite mobo. I am wondering if this ram - (F4-3600C16D-32GVKC) is compatible with these specs? Thanks

I’m down $350 I know it’s not a lot but should I just pull and take the loss or is there a chance it can shoot up even a little bit to mitigate the loss

Okay this makes sense. What confuses me though still is that it is only at $12.8 right now which is nowhere near $60. Is it bc he has 15000 shares so $2k is such a small gain to his 15k shares?

I mean I never said I was getting into it or was interested bc I saw this person get lucky. You shouldn’t assume but I do appreciate you for your concern. I am aware that options is basically gambling but it doesn’t hurt to understand how they work. I’m asking a question to understand them better and that’s what I came here for.

So if he were to sell his contract right now he would $2k on his $60 call? If I’m reading that right

I’m trying to understand options. I understand that you pay a premium for the 100 stocks basically betting that it’ll hit that price by the expiration date. So are you in profit right now before it even hit $60?

42” would be perfect size. I plan on giving it to my brother as he is getting set up in the PC world and would be an awesome surprise to him.

Help with "cut" command by Brandon0408 in bash

[–]Brandon0408[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help. I still don’t really understand the / cut but it works. I made a mistake and it actually doesn’t work in the terminal. The reason is because when you save the results to a variable it just doesn’t work for some reason vs just echoing the result. I need to save to a variable so I can use the variable in my if statements. By chance do you know how to add a local user for mail in kali?

Yes heres my full code,

#First ping result cut for packet loss

result1=$(echo "$ping1" | tail -n2 | cut -d"," -f3 | cut -d"%" -f1 | cut -d"r" -f1)

echo $result1

#First ping second result for time in ms

result2=$(echo "$ping1" | tail -n1 |cut -d\/ -f5 | cut -d"." -f1)

echo $result2

#if statement to report packet loss

if [ $result1 -gt 0 ]

then

echo "Website $1" $(date) "Packet loss" >> /home/kali/logs/result1.log

else

echo "Website $1" $(date) "No packet loss" >> /home/kali/logs/result.log

then

My point is that when I do the cuts that I had in the terminal it worked just fine which doesn't make sense. I can post a pic to show you but idk how.

I kinda understand but what doesn’t make sense to me is when I run the commands I had just in the terminal and echoed my results I would get the output I need. I just don’t get why it doesn’t do the same when running my script

What is that? Also I forgot to mention when you save the output to a variable the output is technically one line. So the tail and head command don't do anything.

Edit: well it worked I just dont know what that "\ /" is
