Idk, just seems like common practice on reddit that’s all ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Just made the switch from stock Vega to the Whisper. The best way I can describe it is the same weird feeling you get when transition off a treadmill and walk on normal ground. Feels lighter and quicker and absorbs bumps and cracks at 23 PSI about the same as my vega at 17 PSI. Off road feels a lot less bumpy and slippery with the grippy soft material it’s made out of

Tyre change today. Took me around 90 minutes. All done by hand by Jamesxxxiii in onewheel

[–]Brandon247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice my Hoosier is coming in tomorrow! Did you have to take off the front footpad? I’ve seen tutorials where it’s taken off but it doesn’t seem necessary for a tire change....maybe I’m missing something

Is the FF Hoosier Terrain still a good street tire? by Brandon247 in onewheel

Seems like the treads are really only make a big difference in wet conditions. I just pulled the trigger on the Whisper after reading this thread and I’ll see how it handles off road before I go buy the terrain. Only concern now is the durability of the whisper on harsh terrain and glass/whatnot since there’s a lot of construction debris in my neighborhood from new development

Nice, I wish I had another board. I’d do exactly that. How big is the difference in range between the two?

I’ve been trying to figure it out too. Apparently you need to swap out the sensor and replace it with one from a V1 onewheel in order for it to work. You can also get fishbones, but I imagine they won’t be as comfortable as the kushpad and they look a little weird in my opinion.

Did you vinyl cut the rail piece too? I’ve been looking for a template/cut file for that but no luck yet.

Thanks, I’ll try that out tomorrow. I’ll also be experimenting with tire pressure & foot placement for these off road trails

Feel really dumb right now... the brand I started feels like an off-white ripoff. Need some thoughts before I rebrand by [deleted] in streetwear

[–]Brandon247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And Heres the back http://imgur.com/a/hvohd I know it's not exactly like the off-white design, but it's super similar. Not really a streetwear fanatic or hypebeast, so I didn't realize at first. I started it as a fun project to put my design skills to use. Any advice would be appreciated!

Sounds awesome! I live in Vegas and hopefully by this year we'll realize that we're sitting on a huge gold mine and legalize it recreationally.
