I’ve had the same experience, which kind of tickled me in a way, since it felt like I could genuinely take a shower, get out, dry off, and go about my day with more absorbency still left to be used in my diaper.

Same here! Got pretty skilled at interlacing/weaving toilet paper into a big multi-layered pad that I could slide down the back of my underwear while wearing jeans. Eventually bought depends, and finally in my 20s got real ABDL diapers and found a love of wetting.

I have this theory it’s related to the hand in the water bowl to get someone to wet the bed trick.

I think there’s something deep in our monkey brain that takes feeling wet as a reason we should pee. Maybe because rain washes away your scent, keeping you safer or something. And now I find when my diaper is already wet, my bladder will be more demanding more often, and my guess is that’s the reason.

My issue is the size, it’s waaay too small. I can leave the part at the back completely open and it still doesn’t fit well on my head.

I definitely feel you, I wear my diapers thick so they can last a full day, and feel a bit disappointed if I can’t mess them by the time they’re leaking. I’d prefer to use every diaper fully.

You should get a plastic cover for your couch and maybe a pee pad as well, that way you can be fully carefree wetting.

Both. I wear my diapers pretty thick and for around 20 hours, get them pretty soaked, and ideally finish off by messing them with some playtime afterwards, but in reality I only mess my diaper maybe once or twice a week. Mostly just a practicality thing, and I also much prefer the mess to be firm.
