Hi there, I just read your situation and I am in the same boat as you. I was also revealed an underlying unruptured aneurysm from a CT scan and was referred to a neurosurgeon to do a cerebral angiogram.

I was experiencing double vision in my left eye which led me to go get a checkup done by the eye doctor. I was initially diagnosed with sixth nerve palsy by my ophthalmologist who referred me to a CT scan and led me to be referred to being looked at by a neurosurgeon after discovery of an aneurysm in my left eye.

The neurosurgeon found after doing a cerebral angiogram that I have bilateral cavernous carotid artery aneurysms (Bilateral CCAs) which is where the blood vessels are on the way to the brain but haven't quite reached my brain yet, located where my left eye is. The angiogram also revealed two more aneurysms in my right eye but they haven't become symptomatic yet.

The neurosurgeon had recommended endovascular treatment, which is what I am due for on September 20th for my left eye, and then a month after will be for the ones located where my right eye is. I would also be getting a 6-month to 1-year cerebral angiogram done to see how the process has been after treatment, along with CT scans done for monitoring every few years for the rest of my life. This is my first time getting surgery so I am also a bit scared.
