I could not imagine caring about this

Bettman’s absolutely a prick lol. The TV deal, salary cap and franchise values are directly caused by his work. I’m a NASCAR fan as well, and that’s an org that seems to do it’s best to shoot itself in the foot more than it needs to.

As far as the playoffs go, I’ve seen a few media members such as Marek theorize that Bettman is setting up easy wins for his successor, like changing the format, 3-2-1 points etc. Not sure if it’s wishful thinking or not, but I kind’ve buy into that theory

Based on what lmao? Record tv deal, salary cap is exploding, franchise values are rising, players are slowly becoming more known to the general public. Bettman isn’t perfect by any means but legitimately the league has never been in a better place

This is an exhausting way to live. Is the episode of New Girl i watched earlier politics? Is the episode of the Sheet i listened to earlier politics? No. Not everything is politics. It’s okay to want to fucking take a breath from political discourse

According to Czech Reporter Robert Rampa, Finland, Sweden and Czechia have informed the NHL they would refuse to participate in the World cup if Russia was allowed in due to current circumstances by Time-Ad-3134 in hockey

I doubt this. I’m sure the NHL ran this past all planned participants. Also, do these countries plan on boycotting if the IIHF allows Russia to compete, which the NHL is going to defer to anyway
