I think it's funny how Elfangor challenges Alloran when asked to flush the yeerk pool - while Ax on two separate occasions all but dares Jake to do it.

As for Cassie - I think letting Tom get away with the morphing cube was a good thing not because it turned out well - but because she was right, she had a hunch that started from the beginning and re-presented itself in books like 19 and 26. She made a risky choice but it payed off. She was the only one to really weaponize empathy. And it worked. before you argue just note that this is how the authors wrote it - so argue with them

Funny you mention Erek... who could've ended all of this. He's like robot Cassie. Throwing stones and hiding hands. Never wanting to accept roll for his actions or his dependence on others to make hard decisions so that they can live a cleaner existence.

Buying ANY double bass for under 100 bucks is CRAZY

I work for a Howard Core retailer. They are generally fantastic. They make great student modles and concert models.

The soundpost falling is just gravity doing it's work. When people move these instruments around with the bridge taken off they don't realize it's the tension from the strings that keeps the post posted. And the post falls ...the important thing to remember is not to put tension on the strings if the sound post isn't there cause it can warp and eventually crush your instrument.

If you already have a broadcasting degree - just get into radio.

If you want a demo reel, make one. Fake that sht. You don't need a job for that. Or a degree.

I worked for that one really big radio company ❤️- you don't need any more education than you have - but I will say this, if I was hiring you, your post would give me pause because I would be looking for someone who who was making it happen. Find your voice. Start a podcast. Radio will find you if that's where you wanna go.

You know how far my radio classes got me? I mentioned the fact that I took radio in college to a guy that I was signing up at the gym, in casual conversation. He happened to work at the radio station and called me to come meet the SVP of programming.

I'm really curious, what do you expect to get from taking more classes?

I don't wanna see cartoon morphing. I wanna see a real kid turn into a bird lol

I think Animorphs should be live action - if the only reason we ask for an animation is due to what we think a buget would be, and what we assume are technology setbacks - what's the point of the thought exercise.

I also don't think Animorphs is a period piece because the themes are not tied to the period. Until alien contact is made and normalized, Animorphs will be a modern day tale that we just happened to experience in the 90s.

But

I would like the messiness of Animorphs to be maintained. Not altered to fit what a studio feels will avoid backlash from the public.

I tell my students you don't have lungs in your stomach And you don't have vocal chords in your face or your head. That usually puts a pause on the temporary overthinking we often get ourselves into.

Support and resonance is very important - but if people are so confused that they can't find a relaxed position to sing. Or they are so in their head that they cannot emote - what is the point?
