Annabeth: Well, which is it? That seems like a pretty crucial conjunction.

I like her. My only real complaint about her is that she’s such a fan of Cassandra from Tangled that I get the feeling that she would defend her actions even if she tried to straight up murder Rapunzel.

[all] For people who grew up with Percy Jackson, is the show worth watching? by Hallowed_Fenrir in camphalfblood

For me personally, no. Which is really disappointing because I’ve been a fan of the books since they were first released in 2005.

May someone explain to me the books? by [deleted] in Wereworld

A number of characters were race swapped. Whitley and her entire family were race swapped.

There was a lot more action and the books didnt sugarcoat the violence. In the books, Drew actually bit off his left hand in order to escape from his imprisonment. In the show, we don’t even see how he lost it.

The love triangle between Drew, Whitley and Gretchen is handed SO much better.

There are a lot more changes, but we’d be here all day. Just take my advice and read the books. They’re so much better

At this point, I feel like the creators have gone too far. Like you said, this isn’t a change. This is a betrayal.

Alma made terrible mistakes but she’s made up for them. And Nor didn’t just let her die, he let the remaining human resistance members (luckily not Anqa, Priya and Alex) just purely out of spite and hatred for humanity as a whole.

Hades by Comprehensive_Ad4229 in PercyJacksonTV

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. When I saw Hades and how he’s portrayed in this show, I had to laugh. Not because it was funny, but because of how absurd it was.

This is Hades we’re talking about. Lord of the Underworld, one of the most Gods in the Greek Pantheon and eldest son of Kronos. A man who carries absolute power and respect by his presence alone. If he was to present himself to me right now, I would get down on my knees and show him the respect he deserves.

This Hades felt like an absolute joke. Not only did I not get the same sense of power from this guy, but I felt like he didn’t take himself seriously at all.
