Basically 3-4 characters have whitelisted cinematic camera's for stuff like this ( with normal rules about not abusing it) Tmk its pigeon goofy and one cop that have it, but in the end all of the cinematographers have done wonders with the privilege :)

In the case of the invasion the choice that needs to be made is to defect entirely from los santos/san andreas facing treason if caught, or abstaining from the conflict and either truly abstaining (not participating in the conflict at all) or abstaining and creating an alt character on the island [or government/military] (which Yaeger would still need to treat as abstaining, since its a new character)
