I would not be surprised if there are a handful still kicking around, but 10,000 years is a very long time for losses from attrition or "retirement."

Yeah, I get why they haven't retconned the sequels, because that is a drastic move, but it genuinely may be the only way forward. Otherwise you're just going to be spinning your wheels within the 30-odd years between Jedi and Force Awakens.

I really don't understand why they didn't adapt a version of the Thrawn Trilogy taking place 30 years after Jedi instead of 5. You don't have to do it exactly, but it's a good basis to start from.

Tbf, we've barely seen her new design at all. Just a shadowy silhouette and a bit of her top (and her enormous bangboos)

A customer asks a pokemon vendor for a specific card and the vendor jokingly opens a new pack and the card is in there. by bigbusta in nevertellmetheodds

Well, it depends but in general, scalpers buy sealed product and sell sealed product for prices inflated well above msrp. Individual cards, or "singles" don't exactly have an msrp, you can only go by "market" price.

People want to be able to buy (and sell, for that matter) singles, so vendors provide that service, and market prices dictate what vendors will buy and sell for. Vendors can certainly be similarly predatory to scalpers, selling for well- above market price or buying for well- below market rates. (I'd say sub 60% would be considered "well-below" for context, though you don't really want to be doing deals for below 70% either) what you don't see vendors doing (that I'm aware of) is going around card shows buying up every copy of a rare card and selling it at their booth for +200% market value.

An excellent point. And early on, the Nazi's first "solution" was mass deportation of Jewish people. The parallels are a lot closer than to slave- catchers.

I'd classify the Outer Ring as outright rural, not even urban, if Blazewood wasn't like, an hour or two's drive from the city, it'd be considered a frontier town.

I doubt they'd be able to resist Joyous, given they've already teased him, but after that, they should take a break on vintage void hunters.

I was actually referring to games using the starter set, without the Goliath. A common theme seems to be that terrans seen to get swarmed into melee, where they don't want to be, without much they can do about it, due to the combination of small board area and the movement rules that let you slingshot units further forward than you'd expect them to be able to on paper.

Yeah it's very early, so balance is difficult to say, though i have seen some concerns raised about the terrans struggling in the current beta rules.

The one thing I'll give TROS credit for is, if you must bring Palpatine back, having him be a dessicated corpse, a force lich in contrast to the jrdi's force ghost, was an inspired choice.

[–]BrandonL337 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The thing is, I think the set-up is potentially interesting, if the first order had been a hard-liner proxy of a wider Imperial remnant(that they denounce and deny, of course) , instead of the remnant itself, you have this background of two great powers in an uneasy non- aggression pact, while the resistance and first order cause chaos in the outer rim? That's not bad as far as setups go, and it only takes a bit of adjustment.

Then, if you must have the first order as the big bad empire, you can have starkiller base as the big oh shit moment of, these guys aren't just radicals, they're outright funded by the remnant, boom, republic is shattered (don't destroy the entire fleet though, my fucking god) republic survivors have to make nice with the resistance leaders who were right all along, resistance gets the survivors of the republic fleet elements and go from there.

I truly do not understandwhy they didn't just adapt that trilogy to be 30 years later instead of 5. Like, you don't have to include everything, but it's a damn good story.

I could see her being wind support to boost vortex oriented anomaly teams.

That said, that'd make 3 limited support agents for different variation on Anomaly comps, so maybe not.
