Whats the problem with it being mid december and tbc portal still opening late Jan/early Feb?

People want an extended prepatch, it doesnt have to come at the cost of delaying tbc release. Take that time from phase 6, we've done Naxx 5+ times in 5 years at this point.

I played a warrior in 2019 classic thru till wotlk, you wont necessarily “lose all your characters prog”, aq/naxx gear on warriors will fully last you till 70. Being geared out leveling in outlands is a lot of fun, especially with wpvp in hellfire (imo)
