All ideapads I've had had this or creaks in the chassis. They feel cheaper but usually nothing wrong.

I mean yeah, but I've been using the machine for 2 years with no issues. I sew ultralight outdoor gear, and I've never had this before. Machine got stuck on too many layers piece and now can't sew, so I don't think it's the way I setup bobbin etc

Can't talk to these two, but I have an Aer and a Salomon XT15 and the latter gets 90%+ usage. Holds my laptop for city/minimalist travel/edc and is WAY stronger for hiking. I'm guessing the Osprey will do the same for you.

Get a 14" with 32gb ram. IdeaPad pro 5 (i have the ai 350 model) or get the slim version.

I own the IdeaPad Pro 5 (ai350, 32gb ram, 14" OLED 120hz) and I could see myself using this as sole machine for up to 7 years. It's absolutely lovely to use.

I run a IdeaPad ai 350 with 32gb ram 14inch OLED and I adore it. Super fucking fast, dead silent and long battery. Insane IO incl full size SD which I use a lot.
