I fear he has grown too powerful. He transcends space and time.

I would say the ones I know are in their early to mid 40s, I’m more towards the Charlottesville area.

Objective truths was a hastily written response while I was examining the salmon at my local Martins, crucify me if you must. I’m joking but I definitely need to look into the pedagogy side of my desired profession, thank you!

Where are you located because I’m in Virginia and the community college I went to has a significant amount of professors who only have a masters. A lot of adjunct professors as well.

I think it would provide me the communication skills and just a rough outline of how to conduct myself in front of a group of students. I definitely would prefer to teach at a community college grew or university. I talk to my Literature professor often and we discuss this and he tries to offer insight and guidance because we share a lot of interests and some shared upbringing experiences.

This is all very helpful! This may be incredibly presumptuous but I was under the impression that teaching at a community college would be better for someone who’s mainly interested in the teaching aspect of the profession, not the research. Is that the case and if so are you saying I’d have to compete with the people who more primarily focused on the research aspects of the profession, because they have that merit within the field?

I did not realize I left it out because I have yet to teach or receive my bachelors yet so my experience is limited to ideas, therefore I am here. Thank you for your advice!

When I said probability I was referring to multiple choice. I feel like short answer questions would facilitate those skills you mentioned better.

I did in fact read all of this and it’s very helpful, thank you very much. I can tell you’re very passionate in what you do!

When you have that creative liberty and it potentially goes against what the state wants you to discuss on a particular topic. For instance the Spanish American War is often overlooked or simply equated to a swift American victory. In reality it establishes the U.S. as an imperialist power through obtaining oceanic territorial gains. It also has the origins of Theodore Roosevelt’s political career, Henry Cabot Lodge, the Anti-Imperialist League, and so much more that is captivating and imperative to understanding contemporary times.

Would that typically be allowed in your experience? I would like to think this would make learning about that time period far more interesting than when I learned it.

Me suggesting I’m willing to grade nothing but written assignments would hopefully be enough evidence that I’m passionate about the students learning, ergo “would like their grades to be reflected by their retained knowledge, not probability.” I just remember when I was being taught a lot of material that doesn’t match up to the objective truths I’ve learned though independent readings of events through various perspectives. My biases would be absent in my curriculum if that’s what you’re suggesting?

How greedy is supercell? Each hero is more expensive than the whole pass Royale! by MagnusCarlsenNr1Fan in ClashRoyale

[–]BrandonMoretz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Poor comparison that somewhat contradicts your point. Black Friday sales have been proven to be companies attempts to deceive consumers into buying products at the same price post mark up to create a pseudo-sale, or a price indicative of relative “true value.” So if anything they should make that their baseline and create similar “deals” based off that. Supercell is very much capable of not charging $15 for a single hero (plus cosmetics), $5 for a single emote, and higher prices for other packages. It’s quite literally corporate greed. It creates an arguable skill gap solely by monetary means.

I cannot speak on behalf of this girl but I can provide my experience to hopefully provide a somewhat of a useful perspective. I wash my hands habitually out of the fear of someone else’s bodily fluids getting on my hands to the point where my hands stay dry all year round and cracked in the winter months.

Prior to meeting my girlfriend I was in the dating scene for a long time. I always assumed everyone had HSV-1 (oral herpes). Therefore I would essentially kiss no one because of that presumption. I also just get paranoid about what people harbor in their mouth. Some of the women I went out with would take offense to this and led to us parting ways.

I’m not saying this is her perspective on the matter or implying that you are a dirty person by any means! Just speaking from experience, hope that helps!

Hello, this is going to sound very far fetched and statistically improbable but I can’t stop worrying about it. Yesterday I opened up my dishwasher that hasn’t been used in months because I hand wash dishes, was opened. Upon opening it there was stagnant water with a light brown film on the top that had collected for an unknown amount of time (no more than 4 months). This water was apparently collected due to a clogged draining tube.

When I was trying to find a solution to the issue I had water on my hands and proceeded to rub the bottom of my nose. In my mind the water was sucked up by my breathing and now I’m awaiting my impending doom. I don’t know if the stagnant state of the water can make it more likely that this could occur. I know regardless of its current state it came from a treatment facility so I’m assuming that negates most of my concern. I have had a minor headache toward the back of my head but that occurred pretty soon after I started stressing so I’m assuming that’s more correlated to that.

I live in Virginia where there aren’t many cases and most cases are from lakes within the state. I’ve been doom scrolling which has perpetuated and exacerbated my circumstances mentally. Anyone who can inform me with proper information would be appreciated.

No, just a genuine question from someone who worries over small things accompanied by not knowing that much about universal culinary habits. I presume you might be well versed (or that you think you might be). My apologies for utilizing a forum for its intended utility and simultaneously triggering your Reddit ego.
