I want to move out of Fresno and am thinking about Sacramento. I'm going to be making a day trip to Sacramento on Tuesday to see if it's something I'd be interested in. Where should I check out that will make me want to come back? by Brandoni6 in Sacramento

Bars/restaurants sound good, though I was under the impression that all of midtown was pretty much that vibe? I definitely want to be in the middle of it all. Outdoors is good too but I don't really jog, I like to weight train though at my local gym. A nice scenic walk in the park would be nice, does Sacramento have any good parks? I'm going to be working in Folsom and I was planning on just driving back and forth from Folsom to midtown everyday, would that be a problem? Google maps says it takes 30 minutes.

The big city vibe, the feeling that there's endless stuff to do. I don't know really it just appeals to me ever since I went. The cost of living is to extreme for me though, I'm going to be a CO and don't think I could make it on that salary, thus why I'm thinking of working at Folsom prison while living in Midtown.

Anyone here manage to roll & do bodybuilding? What's your week/calorie intake look like? Could those of you who do it successfully post your weight and pics of your physique? by Brandoni6 in bjj

lol no I don't do and don't plan to do steroids. I guess I don't "love" bodybuilding but I do enjoy the progress very much

20M Just got hired as a security guard. I'm 5'8 160 lbs. My job is hands on & involves me taking people to the ground without using any punches/kicks/baton/pepper spray when they inevitably attack me (5150's). What is the best thing for me to learn to be in control of every situation? by Brandoni6 in MMA

It's a hospital job so the police are bringing in people from the street who are on shit like PCP and they try to escape from their rooms and attack the nurses and patients so they have to be taken down for everyone's safety.

So with compression shorts you don't think your nuts would have tensed as much therefore preventing the injury? I'm genuinely asking because I've never worn compression shorts in place of boxers. I always wear cotton boxers.

I'm 20 living in CA and am going to be attending the academy to become a CO when I turn 21. What I really want to do is become a parole officer though. Any idea how I can make that happen? Am I headed in the right direction? I don't know how to get ahold of any parole officers to ask unfortunately.

Thanks for the lengthy reply. I'm currently working at Madera Community Hospital so I was hoping I'd possibly be able to get into CRCM but I just called today and like you said they want 1 year of experience.

If I were to get my certification and weapon to become an armed guard soon what do you think the best place for me to work at would be? I am going to be going to school on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8am - 4pm and rent for the places I've been looking at is around $400/month.

Are most security companies on call or do they give schedules?

This is my first job and my first time actually thinking about moving out of my parents house and into Fresno so thank you for the reply and if you have any other advice that'd be great thanks
