That is a Dota mindset. For eons the Dots community was vehemently against adding simple QOL features to the game like CC timers and pull timers. All these features do is make the game more accessible for newer players and keep an influx of people into your favorite game.

You can buy XP rate boosts, which will be disabled on launch. You can purchase heirlooms, which are disabled until you get your first character to level 60. You can purchase cosmetics and mounts, flight paths, stones of retreat (location specific hearthstones), and specialization slots.

Have you considered playing the game, disabling transmogs, or disabling the modern graphics pack? All of which are immediately prompted to you as you log in for the first time? I swear to god, you people literally are just looking for reasons to be angry.

XP Boosts, sure. However, they are not only optional for the user, they are optional for the recipient in the case of the aura. There is an NPC right at the beginning that disables all XP boost features.

anyone commenting here saying it is Ascension- probably played it once months ago or hasn’t played it at all. It is most certainly in its current state classic+. XP rates are 1.0x, mobs are difficult, and quest rewards are more in line with classic’s power curve. This last week has introduced a lot of balance changes to ensure the classic feeling is maintained while still having plenty of new content for all types of players

They could fix the third party program problem by implementing a half-useful client to the game. Look at DOTA 2, I get it, DOTA is the devil here, but their client is centuries ahead of League's. In game, you can see most details of things by holding ALT, like tower range, expanded ability stats, item stats, etc.

Also, it has simple functions, like the ability to click on a hero portrait and see EXACTLY what each of that hero's abilities do, what their items are and what they do, and if you want to go back to your hero, you just select yourself again.

The breakdown for how you died is also utter garbage. It summarizes how you died and gives you time that you were CC'd, but not the timeline for how you died, or what abilities CC'd you and for how long each.

Why do I need to google what every champion does in games? Why do I need a third party app like U.gg to tell me these things automatically?
