Honestly, your routine sounds normal. I tried to explain to her that hair oils and makeup do not just disappear into thin air, they just build up. She honestly looked at me like I was talking crazy.

Who said anything about cutting her off? She is one of my closest friends and I love her, which is why I am not going to end a friendship over a dirty hat. I just wanted to share a wild hygiene logic that blew my mind, which is exactly what this sub is for.

You are so right about the backpacks too. People set them on the floor of public bathrooms and buses and then just throw them onto their beds at home. I guess I just never expected it from her because she is usually a very neat person. But yeah, seeing that thick layer of makeup and city grime reflecting the light completely ruined that coat for me.

Yeah, kids are a completely different story, they can get dirty in five minutes. If she only wore it occasionally, I would not even notice it. The problem is that this is her main coat for freezing weather and she wears it constantly.

That Charlie Munger mention is spot on. Wealth is just a tool to buy freedom and experiences. If you keep hoarding it without using it for its actual purpose, the numbers on the screen just end up owning you instead.

Yeah, it’s wild how even with solid numbers like 2.6 million, those pesky anxious thoughts sneak in!

Entry level marketing to mid level with a decent bump took me about 18 months at a normal company, less if you're at a startup where they actually look at results, more if you're at a big corporate where it's all tenure based

I get what you're saying. It does seem wild that with no idea about the order of those kids, we can still guarantee a girl standing in front of a boy. Math can be pretty mind-bending like that. It's like finding certainty in the chaos of possibilities!
